Festival start: 20 November 2020      Festival end: 22 November 2020

Buenos Aires Music Video Festival (BAMV Fest) is the first international video clip event in Argentina created to promote and reward the best performances every year. The Festival organizes various activities with the intention of forming a community of video clip makers.

The call is open to those over 18 years of all nationalities, as long as they have access to audiovisual material.

Directors, producers, production companies, record labels, artists, bands, among other professionals related to the production of the video clip are invited to participate.

For the Student Video Clip category, the requirement is to be a student over 18 years of age and to belong to an Argentine educational institution.

We encourage filmmakers and artists from all over the world to present their best videos and participate in the Buenos Aires Music Video Festival. The curatorial team will review all the nominations and select up to 10 video clips for each category, the winner will be revealed on the award night through an international jury and / or by public vote.

A video clip is understood as any audiovisual work that generates a new aesthetic discourse by officially using images on a commercially edited phonogram.

New formats such as Lyric videos, vertical videos, among others, can participate and be nominated for all categories as long as they are registered in the Official Competition section.

All the video clips released since May 1, 2019 are in competition.

* A video clip made by a university student or in an amateur manner, and therefore considered "unofficial", can only participate in the Best Student Video Clip category.

The Festival has 5 main categories: Video of the Year, Best Directorx, Best Argentine Video, Vote of the Spectator and Best Student Video Clip. The award is generally divided into sections (Official Competition and Formats) and offers more than 20 distinctions to the best videos of the year.
