FRAME OF MIND is an innovative attempt by Schizophrenia Research Foundation (SCARF) a non-governmental organization working in the field of mental health for over 25 years to promote healthy attitudes and increase awareness about mental illnesses and related issues. The primary aim of FRAME OF MIND is to counter the stereotypes and clichéd portrayals of mental illnesses in movies and to promote positive and realistic depictions. To encourage this competition section for short films on various themes related to mental health has been included in every edition of FRAME OF MIND. This is open to students and potential film makers or anyone with a keen interest in the issue.

1st Place - ₹30,000
2nd Place - ₹20,000
3rd Place - ₹10,000

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Inviting films on Mental health issues during Pandemic/ Covid 19.

2. Entries should be short films not more than 5 minutes and not less than a minute

3. Filmmakers may choose any style – drama, fiction, documentary or docu-drama and employ any technique including animation to explore their story.

4. Films can be made in English or any other language. Films that are not in English should have sub-titles in English.

5. This is open to Filmmakers, students, healthcare professionals – absolutely anyone with a keen interest in the issue.

6. The films should be positive and avoid stereotypes.

7. Jury of eminent media and mental health professionals who will choose the best films for cash prizes.

8. All short listed entries will be screened.

9. A person can send more than one entry.
10. The last date for receiving entries will be October 20th, 2020
