WHAT IS FICMAN-INSFF ?
12 MONTHS. 12 FINALISTS. 1 GREAT WINNER !

Filmmakers? Get noticed! FICMAN/INSFF is not an online Festival, but a monthly international competition. FICMAN / INSFF is an international film festival and LIVE screening for Short film. 12 finalists, one each month, and a great night of short to choose the best of the best. Live event and screening, international jury from the industry, trailer of monthly winners relayed on a WebTV (Winning Shorts will not be shown online, only their trailer), Official Laurels, review on a professional cinema blog (LE PETIT SEPTIÈME) for winners and more. Be part of this one of a king festival for shorts lovers, and give your film and your talent a chance to be shown and noticed by the right people from all over the world.

HOW DOES IT WORKS ?

Each month, a winner will be chosen in a monthly competition from the submissions received during the past month, becoming one of the 12 Finalist of the LIVE screening. The trailer of this Finalist Short Winner will be shown on P3J.TV (a cultural WebTV followed by people from 47 countries) with a bio of the Director, the poster of the Film and a description of the Short.

At the end of the year, a LIVE screening will present a great night of short, at the Barberivain Cultural Center of Sainte-Barbe (Québec, Canada). 12 months. 12 finalists. 1 great winner. INSFF? International narrative short film festival. Filmmakers? Get noticed!

NOTE : Winning Shorts will not be shown online, only their trailer.

Prizes of more than $ 15,000 in visibility and recognition will be awarded : Trailer of monthly winners relayed on a WebTV for a year, Official Laurels for and live screening for monthly winners, review on a professional cinema blog (LE PETIT SEPTIÈME) for the great winner of the year, prices and much more...

Please note: Shorts submitted must have a trailer. By submitting their short film, filmmakers accept that this trailer will be relayed on P3J.TV (a Canadian and cultural WebTV produced by Production du 3 juin) if chosen by the jury as the monthly winner. The film will not de download, and will not be shown online.

(1) The following categories of fiction films are eligible: author's film, narrative film, silent film, art film, animated film, experimental film, student film, first work, documentary fiction, video clip, web series.

(2) Short films must be under 15 minutes.

(3) All Submissions must be subtitled in English (for non-French speaking films). Silent films are also accepted.

(4) Films' Posters will be uploaded from Festhome site.

(5) FICMAN/INSFF will not download your film or make it available online.

(6) Filmmakers could submit a Short film each month (and could summit the same film more than once). A same film can be submitted each month.

(7) No racism, sexual, violence or discrimination film will be accepted.

(8) Entry fees are non-refundable.

(9) Filmmakers will be informed when the jury & selection committee make a decision. All Decisions are Final .

(10) Each winner will be contacted and will receive a winner's certificate along with the official Laurels. The winning films will be announced on the Festival WebTV (P3J.TV) and on our FACEBOOK page’s.
