Festival start: 15 December 2018      Festival end: 16 December 2018

Berlin Liberi Film Festival focuses on personal voice in filmmaking.

Curating films in all shapes and forms from all over the world we are happy to open our call for submissions for the third time!

The Festival takes place at Kino Moviemento, the oldest Cinema in Germany, founded 1907 located in Kreuzberg in the middle of Berlin.

We are looking to once again put together a blasting Festival. It's going to be Independent, Experimental, Obscure and personal. Angry, gentle, happy and rough!

In focus at the Festival are the participating films and their directors. We heavily advertise and promote the film program towards audience and industry, the two first editions were sold out.

We work to provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere so that the Festival becomes a meeting and networking point for film makers, film organizations, enthusiasts and audience. To encourage all selected film makers to visit the Festival we provide and pay for accomodation, something we also offer Film Industry professionals wishing to visit the festival.

Former known as Berlin Experimental Film Festival we are shifting focus from the Experimental method to the Personal voice which is why we now take the next step as Berlin Liberi Film Festival. With all forms of Experimental and Independent film making at the heart of the Festival, the root itself will be the Personal Voice from which all else follows.

We first and foremost seek bravery and a lust to experiment and express using the medium of Film, regardless if the film maker is an amateur starting out or an established professional. Regardless if its a quiet sensitive film about personal pain, an angry roar against society, a light hearted documentary about a grandmother, a visual portrayal of sound itself or an insecure attempt to wander into an unknown sexuality - the Personal voice is what the curated program is be built upon.

We offer accreditation to both Commercial and Non Profit Organizations such as NGO's, Film Clubs, Production Companies, Agencies etc that have Independent Film as interest. If you represent an Organization of this kind please contact us for more information.
