Attention filmmakers -- Short Circuit returns in 2018, with another showcase of films from around the Pacific Rim!

If you're a filmmaker from a country, state, or province bordering the Pacific Ocean, then you are invited to submit your new short film for consideration. For Short Circuit's 6th anniversary, 2018's festival promises to be bigger and better than ever!

We are looking for great films made after January 1, 2016 in all genres with a maximum running time of 20 minutes.

Short Circuit is presented by CineVic, located in British Columbia's beautiful capital city, Victoria, on Vancouver Island. Victoria is on traditional unceded territory of the Coast Salish Indigenous peoples, and is surrounded by historical landmarks and natural landscapes sure to captivate any traveller. Canada was picked as the #1 destination country for Lonely Planet's Best in Travel 2017, and Victoria was recently named one of the Top 10 Best Cities in the World by Condé Nast.
