The festival seeks different ways of sensitivity in fiction films, animation and documentary, directed by newbies or established professionals, in addition to experimental work and new forms of audiovisual art language. The well-known city of Balneário Camboriú provides ideal conditions for creating an atmosphere of the film festival and privileged space for discussion, public formation and revelation of new talents.
-Films need to be submitted in their original version for the selection process.
-Films in languages other than Portuguese must be subtitled in Portuguese, Spanish or English.
-Will be accepted only films finished on or after January, 2012, and that haven't been screened in previous versions of the festival.
-Will be accepted only films unreleased in Brazil (Brazilian Première/First
Screening in B razil at CINERAMABC).

Regulation
SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN FOR THE FOLLOWING SESSIONS OF THE OFFICIAL PROGRAM:
01– Official Competition: with shorts and feature films in Brazilian Première;
02– Live Cineramabc: with varied audiovisual work new forms and formats of cinema;
03– Catarina Competition: comprised by local short films related to the State of Santa Catarina.
04– Little Owl Session: children’s shorts and feature films of any country;
05 – Nocturnal: a window for fantastic cinema in night sessions.
REGULATIONS ARE VALID FOR ALL PROGRAMS DISCRIBED ABOVE
SUBMITING YOUR FILM:
It’s possible submit your film by two different ways:
01– DIGITAL SUBMISSION:
a) Read the regulations;
b) Be agreed with rules;
c) Submit your inscription and send the digital copy using one of the following services: www.festhome.com.
d) Complete and sign the application form and send it to filmes@cineramabc.com with the film title and the festival section on the “Subject” field untill 23:59 p.m. (GMT -‐3:00) May 13, 2016;
02– CONVENCIONAL SUBMISSION:
a) Read the regulations;
b) Be agreed with rules;
c) Download the application form;
d) Complete and sign the application form;
e) Formats accepted for selection are: DVD and Blu-‐ray (region free). If sending materials in other formats is strictly necessary, please contact CINERAMABC via filmes@cineramabc.com (charges may apply);
f) Pay the submission tax by using the Paypal link: (https://www.paypal.com/cgibin/webscrcmd=_sxclick&hosted_button_id=8A3BSMXFSUQW) it will costs U$ 5,00 until May 13, 2016.
g) Send all material (DVD or Blu Ray + regulation form + proof of payment) until May 13, 2016. Note: Postal service stamp will be the proof of shipping date.
h) Send a digital copy of regulation form and proof of payment to: filmes@cineramabc.com with the film title and the festival section on the “Subject” field by 23:59 p.m. (GMT -‐3:00) of the May 13, 2016;
COPIES AND DEADLINES:
01- Only films finished on or after January, 2014, will be accepted;
02- Only films unreleased in Brazil will be accepted (Brazilian Première/First Screening in Brazil at CINERAMABC);
03- Brazilian movies will be accepted even if they may have been screened in other Brazilian festival;
04- Films need to be submitted in their original version;
05- Films in languages other than Portuguese must be subtitled in Portuguese, English, Spanish or French;
06- Submission or film materials that be send late will not be accepted;
07- All submitted material for selection will not be returned;
08- In order to protect the interests of the filmmakers and the producers, all films submitted will be archived in the reference collections of FILMOTECA CINERAMA.BC for the sole purpose of onsite documentation and research, excluding any loan or public presentation;
09- Selected films will be announced on the festival website;
10- All material of selected films will be used for promotional purpose (TV, site,
others);
11- Programming is at the sole discretion of the curatorship of each festival section and their decision is final and irrevocable;
12- Each film may be screened during the festival according to grade definition and for festival itinerancy;
13- Films selected as première should preserve it’s status until official presentations at the festival;
14- No film selected may be withdrawn from
the festival program after its confirmation;
15- The responsible for submission must provide the dialog list to the festival when asked for;
16- The festival will not confirm by email the receipt of the DVDs and application forms. Please do not send emails asking this confirmation;
17- Participation in the festival requires the unconditional adherence to its regulations as set out here;
18- Just be accepted in festival projects that followed and be in accordance with this Regulations;
19- The submission to the festival confirms the agreement with all rules and conditions of the present regulation.
The full cost of sending screening media for selection, including customs fees and insurance of all material, as well as their eventual return freight, must be borne by the producer or his authorized representatives.
The festival organization reserves the right to decide upon non-predictable cases.

AWARD OF THE FILMS IN THE OFFICIAL COMPETITION:
Selected films will be judged by the Official Jury, which will reward the films with the Golden Owl in categories: Best Film, Director, Diretor of Photography, Art, Editing, Actor, Actress and Best Short Film. The festival will also reward a feature film with the Cineramabc Distribution Award, that will ensure distribution in commercial cinema circuit in Brazil. The films will also be awarded with the Public Award and the Especial Critics Award.
In addition to the above awards, the Cineramabc is seeking partners for other awards.
