Those documentaries with informative content and of human relevance, including those related to social, cultural, documentary or sports topics, among others, will be considered for the contest.

The value of the content of the work will have priority over the technical and narrative quality. The information shown in the documentary must be totally true to reality. Fake documentaries or fiction documentaries will not be accepted.

The following prizes are established:

In addition, all winning documentaries will receive a commemorative trophy.

The winning documentaries will be announced at the Closing Ceremony 2019 (June 30, 2019).
The cash prizes will be paid by bank transfer.

A prize may be declared void by the jury.
The producers and distributors of the award-winning documentaries are committed to using the A | V | R logo in their promotion and publicity.

1. Documentary films of any nationality, produced after January 1, 2016, may participate.

2. If the language of the work is not Spanish or Catalan they must include the subtitles in one of these languages. Likewise, if the original language is Castilian and / or Catalan, it is recommended to include subtitles.

3. Each author may submit as many works as he or she wishes, as long as they comply with the conditions established in these rules.

4. At least one person representing each finalist documentary, which will be screened during A | V | R, should attend the festival to present their work.

5. The works presented by persons under 18 years of age must present a signed proof on behalf of a parent or legal guardian.

6. The address of A | V | R reserves the right not to accept copies that, after the control of the technical department of the festival, prove unsuitable for the screening. Likewise, it will transmit the technical report to the holders or representatives if irregularities were found in the copy.

7. The works presented may be used by the organization of A | V | R for the promotion of the festival in media, social networks, Festival catalog and other dissemination elements.

The finalist documentaries will be announced on the A | V | R website. The organization only communicate the decision of the selection committee to the finalists.

The organization will establish the order and the date and time of exhibition of each documentary and will communicate it to the person representing each work so they can be present.
