The Hon. Yebes City Council (Guadalajara, Spain) and Mitad & Mitad Producciones call for the II ‘4661 FILMF FEST’, YEBES-VALDELUZ SPACE & SCI-FI SHORT FILM CONTEST, wich will take place on March 8th and 9th inside ExpoAstronómica 2019 fair.

Best Short Film – Special Jury’s Prize: €300,00 + Trophy.
Best Short Film – Audience Award: €300,00 + Trophy.
Best Actor: Trophy.
Best Actress: Trophy.
Best Screenplay: Trophy.
Best Music (Original Score): Trophy.
Best Special Effects: Trophy.

1. All the short films, without exception, will be framed in the genre of science fiction, being of special interest those whose theme or background is space, astronomy, astronautics, etc.
2. The maximum duration of the short films will be 30 minutes, including credit titles.
3. Fiction and documentary works will be accepted, made in real image or animation, as well as video art pieces whose creative and original value are considered suitable for the theme of the contest.
4. Works that have an institutional or advertising nature will not be admitted, as well as those whose content advocates racism, sexism, xenophobia, intolerance, religious fanaticism and any kind of violence against human beings and their environment.
5. The short films may have been made in any format or audiovisual system, as long as they have an optimum quality for their public screening.
6. The works must have been made after January 1st, 2015 and have not been selected in the previous edition of the festival.
7. The participants will be agree for the use of short audio and video fragments, as well as any type of promotional material of their short films (frames, posters, etc.) for exclusively promotional purposes of the contest.
