For all categories of films Applications will be accepted that have been finalized from the year 2014, in the genres: fiction, documentary, animation and experimental made in any format (35mm, 16mm, digital, etc.) provided it has copy display in digital format (MOV H264).

REGULATION

I - PURPOSE

1.1 - This CALL aims to select and reward films produced anywhere in the world with the idea to understand, observe and make visible the social and cultural processes taking place both in the south as in the north of the planet, short film with order to participate in competitive exhibitions that make up the schedule III Mostra Curta Vazantes: Cinema in the Community, to be held from June 27 to July 2, 2016, the Community of Vazantes, Aracoiba district, State of Ceara.

II - THE ORGANIZATION

2.1 - III Mostra Curta Vazantes: Cinema in the Community is carried out by Dotted Film and Cultural and Artistic Productions Ltd. in partnership with the Catholic University of Pernambuco and Faith and Joy Foundation of Brazil - Vazantes.

III - COMPETITIVE SHOWS - SECTIONS

3.1 - The Festival will consist of exhibitions and competitive exhibitions of films in the following categories:

3.1.1 - National Short Film (up to 20 minutes)

3.1.2 - International Short Film (up to 20 minutes)

1 - For all categories of films Applications will be accepted that have been finalized from the year 2014, in the genres: fiction, documentary, animation and experimental made in any format (35mm, 16mm, digital, etc.) since have screening copy in digital format (MOV H264).

IV - REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

4.1 - The registration will be free and will be held in the period 05 January to 15 March 2016, on the Dotted Film website at the address: http://www.pontilhadocinematografico.com.br

4.2.1 - The competitors, individuals or legal entities, must submit their applications for registration in the form available on the site and send to curtavazantes@pontilhadocinematografico.com.br email the following documents:

I - Application form completed and signed by the responsible for registration.

II - 03 (three) release of photos from the movie and 01 (one) photo of the director.

1. The director or producer must indicate on the registration form the number of the CPB (Brazilian Product Certificate) issued by the National Agency of Cinema - ANCINE.

2. In the registration form must bear the Rating System in accordance with the standards provided by the Ministry of Justice - Department of Justice.

The filling of the parental rating information is required, it must be done in accordance with the instructions of the "New Manual Rating System", and is the responsibility of the director or producer of the film.

4.2 - Registration also can be done via the online platform Festhome (https://festhome.com/f/920).

V - THE SELECTION PROCESS

5.1 - The selection of films to compete for the Mostra Curta Vazantes will be conducted by a commission, appointed by the Board Dotted Film.

5.2 - Coordination of the exhibition disclose the productions selected through e-mail from the day April 30, 2016.

1 -The coordination of the festival may request to selected promotional materials (press book, posters).

2 - The address of the applicant, informed on the registration form, will be the organization's communication channel of the show with the subscribers. The communication responsibility is also payable by the applicant, exempting the coordination of shows in the case of e-mail with acknowledgment of failure and / or misinformed.

5.3 - The selection of films for the competitive exhibition implies the display of the same show, being forbidden to the applicant the possibility to remove it from the competition.

VI - AWARDS

6.1 - trophies will be awarded to participants films by an official jury, as described below:

6.2 - The jury may separately grant honorable mention, whenever it is in agreement with the coordination of the exhibition, and may also refrain from granting any prize or trophy when it deems necessary. The decision of the Jury is final.

VII - GENERAL PROVISIONS

7.1 - The organization of the II Shows Short Vazantes: community theater reserves the right to display in any medium excerpts from films - within one minute of each and / or trailer - of the participating films with disclosure purposes the show.

7.2 - It is up to the Director of Film Dotted and Coordination shows the solution of any ignored this call.

7.3 - Participation in the III Mostra Curta Vazantes implies full acceptance of these rules.
