The Black Gold Film Festival in its Fourth Edition, invites all international professionals and public and private school students from all over Mexico, enrolled or up to one year of graduation in Cinematography, Communication, Media Information, Science and Communication Techniques, Journalism, Audiovisual Media, Visual and Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising or any other university career, to participate in the FOURTH COMPETITION SHORT FILM FESTIVAL BLACK GOLD.

AWARDS
• Mexican Fiction University Short Film. * Free theme $ 5,000 and Statuette
• Fiction short film. * Free theme $ 155 DLLS and Statuette
• Animation Short Film. * Free Theme $ 155 DLLS and Statuette
• Best Veracruz Short Film. Free theme $ 5,000

The jury will grant the mentions that it considers pertinent.
A certificate of participation in digital format will be granted to all registered works that request it.

1. For the Mexican Short Fiction University Short Film category, the directors of the short films must complete a higher level program in any institution in the country, or have a maximum of 1 year of graduation.

2. Only shorts produced from 2017 and up to the closing date of the call may be registered. There are no restrictions regarding the recording format, nor with respect to the amount of materials registered per participant, but an individual registration procedure must be carried out for each work.

3. Short films that are not spoken in Spanish must have subtitles in that language.

4. Once registered and selected the work can not be withdrawn from the official program of the Black Gold Film Festival.

5. Once the audiovisual work has been registered, the director authorizes the Black Gold Festival for the exhibition of the works during the contest and to be included in promotional material; as well as to be projected in other forums or non-profit film shows.

6. The directors of the registered short films must be responsible for the authorship of their work, assuming that the short film has due copyright. In case there is a violation, it will be disqualified from the contest and the Black Gold Film Festival will be exempted of any responsibility.

7. Winning short films or exhibits at other festivals or film shows may be registered.

8. The contest may be declared void in the event that an adequate number of short films entered by category is not reached. For this purpose, the filmmakers will be notified and the registration fees subsequent to the Festival will be refunded.

The Organizing Committee will announce the order, place, time and dates of exhibition of the short films selected in advance of the participants.

The not foreseen in this call is for the consideration of the organizing committee and its decision will be unappealable.
