Bharat International Film Festival did its first year award ceremony in Mumbai,India.

Bharat International Film Festival aims at providing a common platform to the cinemas across the world to project the excellence of the art of film making and promote new movie makers, exchange of knowledge, information, ideas & culture between India & other nations in context of their social and cultural ethos. It also promotes friendship and co-operation among people of the world through the medium of films & documentaries.

Though the film festivals have become a regular affair in most countries, yet most of them cater only to a selected audience as well as entertain the commercially successful film makers and related personalities. However, Bharat International Film Festival intends to organize a festival that connects the film fans & movie goers with the world, especially the serious filmmakers & their associates so as to bring about greater understanding of the art of film making.

Bharat International Film Festival has one wing of Dosti Cinema.

Dosti Cinema has taken up a responsibility of releasing selective Indian Movies that are participating in BIFF . Dosti Cinema has created a network of around 10 lakhs peoples of social cinema lovers. Dosti Cinema will try to make them your audience for the movie so that your cinema can get real audience for whom you have made this movie. It is supported by more than 100 NGO, Schools and Colleges. Dosti Cinema has Print and Digital Media partners, where they can publicize your movie without any cost.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SUBMISSION & PARTICIPATION:

The festival will not interact with anyone except the submitter and/ or the producer of the film. If any person - be it the actor, writer, director or any from the production crew tries to forcibly extract information about the status of the film from the festival authorities, the festival will have absolute rights to DISQUALIFY THE FILM from competition and/ or screening which you may kindly note. At the same time, the festival may take the decision to ban the production house completely from sending entries to the next editions of the festival.

The entry form / application will be considered only on receipt of Administrative film submission entry fee as mentioned above.

All entries must be sent to the Biff prepaid and insured for your own protection. Entry form, DVD, Synopsis, Posters, Publicity stills and other material should reach Festival office on or before i.e. November 30th, 2020.

3. COMPETITION FEATURE FILMS: (Open to all Directors across the Globe)

Films entered in the FEATURE FILM Section should be more than 60 mins and made / released between 1st April 2015 and 30th November 2020.

4. COMPETITION SHORT FILMS/ DOCUMENTARY / ANIMATION FILMS
Films entered in the Competition Section must have a running length of not more than 30 mins.

5. GENERAL
5.1 Films not presenting sufficient technical qualities for good public screening can be refused by the Festival Director.
5.2 Subtitling is necessary and compulsory for films that are not in English language or in Hindi (Indian Language). Films without subtitles shall not be screened in the Festival.
5.3 The participants must ensure that they have the right to participate in the Bharat International Film Festival with regard to parties connected with the production / distribution of the participating film and / or other right holders/licenses.

5.4 Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of these and all Regulations as specified.
5.5 The Festival Director will decide all matters not expressly provided for in these regulations but in conformity with the provisions of the International Regulations for film festivals and its decisions shall be final and binding on all parties.
5.6 Entrants should inform the Festival Director by November 30th, 2020 about their participation, including the titles of films and the names and addresses of the directors, producers, production companies and world sales companies against each film titles.If Winner is not able to come he/she has to bear courier charges of the Trophy.

NOTE: Festival Director, Programmer, Selection Panel and Jury shall determine selections and / or Award Winners at their sole discretion. BIFF authorities at any time would not entertain any request pertaining to selection films and / or awards. Decision of the BIFF festival authorities regarding all matters not expressly provided for in these rules and regulations or which require interpretation of the clauses mentioned above shall be final and binding to all parties.
The Festival is being organized under the aegis of Bharat International Film Festival by Wings to Bollywood, Bharat Film Festival and Dosti Cinema with support from Indian Film Industry and film makers from around the world.
