Statuette and Diploma.

PUBLIC AWARD FOR THE BEST SHORT FILM.
Best Short Film Award, chosen by the audience attending the Festival
with his anonymous vote, endowed with 500 euros, Statuette and Diploma.

TECNISON BY ECLAIR AWARD FOR THE BEST SOUND / BSO.
Best Sound / BSO Award, chosen by the Jury, awarded with a Sound mixing day (valued at € 990), Statuette and Diploma.

MENTION BETTER PHOTO ADDRESS.
Mention for the Best Director of Photography, chosen by the Jury, Diploma.

MENTION BETTER INTERPRETATION.
Mention for the Best Interpretation, chosen by the Jury, Diploma.

The Corterafest Cultural Association organizes the 3rd Tera Short Film Festival.

PARTICIPATION

Any natural or legal person of any nationality may participate in the Tera Short Film Festival (CORTERAFEST).

Only 1 short film may be submitted per participant.

The organizers of the Festival, as well as sponsors or collaborators who intervene in the selection process of the short finalists, or winners are expressly excluded from the contest.

INSCRIPTION

Each participant must register using the attached form, attaching the following materials:

- Short film poster.

The deadline for registering and receiving the short films begins on the day of publication of these rules and ends on May 31, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. Peninsular time.

The link of the short film sent, in the registration form, must be enabled during the entire selection process.

SHORT FILM FORMAT

The short films will be sent via links from platforms such as Vimeo, YouTube, Dropbox, etc ... with the authorship of the registered person, for the selection of the finalists.

The maximum duration of the short film will be 25 minutes, credits included.

Those short films whose language is different from Spanish must include Spanish subtitles.

CONTEST MECHANICS

Once the deadline for registering and receiving the short films is over, the CORTERAFEST organization will view the short films admitted to the competition and will choose the 5 finalists.

On July 1, 2022, they will be published on our website and in our social networks, and those interested will be notified via email.

The 5 short films selected must be sent in container format mov or mp4, codec H265 and with a resolution of 1920x1080p, for its projection, in the 5 calendar days following the communication of the same.

On July 22, 2022, the Festival will take place in Calzada de Tera (Zamora), in the open air, which will include the screening of selected short films, voting by the jury and the public, and awards ceremony.

JURY

The CORTERAFEST Organization will appoint a jury composed of professionals from the audiovisual sector.

LEGAL ASPECTS

Registration in the Festival implies full acceptance of these rules.

The participant must be in possession of all the corresponding rights on the work, guaranteeing that the short films do not violate any right of exploitation, nor rights of honor, privacy and image, nor rights of Intellectual and / or Industrial Property and / or any other rights of third parties, and that do not violate current legislation.

The festival organization declines all legal responsibility for the short films submitted to the contest and their content.

The winners will include a written reference of said prize at the beginning of all copies of the film they distribute for display in commercial theaters and / or in audiovisual contests. This reference will consist of a text with the type of prize awarded, accompanied by the corporate image (logo and name) of the Tera Short Film Festival, which will be provided by the organization.

CORTERAFEST reserves the right to disseminate and transmit the material sent for promotional purposes of the festival.

The issues not reflected in this call will be resolved by the organizers of the festival.

The recipients of the information contained in the file will be in charge of the different departments of the CORTERAFEST Organization that, with address at Prado San Juan 24, Guadarrama, Madrid, as responsible for the file, guarantees the exercise of the rights of access, rectification , cancellation and opposition of the data provided.
