Festival start: 13 November 2021      Festival end: 20 November 2021

Cine Urutu is the first Film Festival held in the city of Pindamonhangaba, in the interior of São Paulo, Brazil. In 2021, the 3rd edition of the event will be held online.

The winning film in each category will receive an exclusive trophy, made especially for the Cine Urutu Festival - 3rd edition.

As long as the winner resides in Brazil, the trophy shipping costs will be covered by the event organizers.

CINE URUTU FESTIVAL REGULATIONS - 3rd Edition (2021)

1. PRESENTATION

1.1 The Cine Urutu Festival is an event that seeks to promote and enhance production
of the Paraíba Valley through the exhibition of restricted access short films
to the general public. In 2021, the Festival will have its 3rd edition, being developed by Arte
More: space for collective creations and by the production company Casa Cinematográfica from the Public Notice
01/2020 - Artistic Languages ​​of Pindamonhangaba / SP.
Registration takes place until 31/08/2021.

2. REGISTRATION

2.1 Applications will be accepted between 08/01/2021 and 08/31/2021, until the time of
23:59h, delays in sending the works are not tolerated. Films received after the deadline
stipulated will be consequently discarded and excluded from participation in the edition
2021.

2.2 Each participant can send up to 2 (TWO) films, and the registered works cannot
may be available on the internet, publicly, until the closing period of the
festival.

2.3 The participation of any film, of any genre, made in
any support (cameras, cell phones, camcorders, etc.), as long as they are framed in the
rules set out below.

2.4 Applications must be made using the following form:

- Film's name
- Download Link (preferably uploaded from mega.nz site)
- Duration (maximum 20 minutes with credits)
- Synopsis (Up to 5 lines)
- Datasheet
- Questioning about the film produced in the region of Vale do Paraíba, interior of
São Paulo. And, if so, in which city(s) it was filmed.
- Name of the director
- City where you live
- Contact email
- Questioning about having participated in the Cine Urutu Festival before.

2.5 We request that the films made in Vale do Paraíba be good as such,

2.6 The films must be between 1 minute (minimum) and 20 minutes (maximum), already
considering the initial or final credits.

3. SELECTION / JURY

3.1 After discarding the works that do not fit the regulation, all the films
will be assisted by a panel of judges, composed of professionals duly

3.2 All selected films will receive a certificate of participation in the event and the

4. EXHIBITIONS

4.1 Between October 22nd and 28th, the selected films will search, distributing the

4.2 The screenings will take place online, with the selected films becoming available
for 15-day access on the Festival's YouTube channel. After the end of the
event, all works will be duly removed from the internet.

4.2 After each session is made available online, chats will be held
between the event's organizing team and the public interested in Google's private rooms
Meet / Zoom. Filmmakers will be able to participate by sharing
information on the production of the works.

4. AWARDS CEREMONY

4.1 The award declaration will take place on October 29, 2021. In it, in addition to the
disclosure of the winning films, the awarded works will also be re-exhibited. You
directors of these films can participate in the session.

4.2 After the disclosure of the awarded films, the organizing team will contact
the specific winners for the delivery of the trophies.

5. FINAL PROVISIONS

5.1 Festival Cine Urutu is not responsible for the content present in the films
sent, being the full responsibility of its creators. It is considered,
therefore, that participants are aware of the use of audio and images with
third-party copyrights, and the film's creator is responsible for these issues.

5.2 The registered directors grant FESTIVAL CINE URUTU the right to re-exhibit the
works in future events, in order for the festival to publicize and/or serve as a source of promotion
of the audiovisual sector in the Vale do Paraíba region.

5.3 All cases do not comply with any applicable regulations and granted by the
Organizing committee.

6. SCHEDULE
- 05/08 to 31/08: Registration period
- 09/01 to 09/30: Curatorship
- 10/01 to 10/14: Jury Review
- 10/15: Disclosure of the films selected for the festival
- 10/22 to 10/28: Film screening
