Most Festival is an annual event that aims to showcase the best international audiovisual work linked to viniculture, wine and cava. At the same time, the festival aims to make a toast for good cinema by projecting unreleased films by great authors.

Held in the Penedès, a zone very close to Barcelona (Spain) with a long winemaking tradition and several wine-related tourist attractions, the festival wants to promote viniculture and arts linked to wine and cava through audiovisual works and also explore all aspects of winemaking, especially values such as quality, diversity, wine tourism and ties to the region.

• Jury Award. Funded with 3.000€.

• Catalan wine Award to the best expressing the values of wines from any wine designation of origin (DO) in the Catalan-speaking regions.

Funded with 1.500€.

• Award for Best Sustainability to the film that best expresses the values of a organic viticulture and oenology, and respect for
the environment

• Award for Best Advertisement.

• Award for Best Fiction Film.

• Award for Best Documentary Film.

Tax legislation will be applied to the prizes with economic funding. The rest of prizes will consist of diploma.

Selection Committee

A selection committee appointed by the organization shall select the films to be screened, and thus compete in the festival, from all the correctly submitted films. A list of the selected films will be posted on the festival website a month before the event.


Jury

The films selected to take part in Most will be judged by a jury made up of professionals linked to the worlds of wine, the audiovisual industry and the region.

The jury reserves the right to declare any of the awards void.

All the jury’s decisions shall be final.

Signing up

• Submissions to Most are free and open until 15th June 2024.

• All submitted films should have been made on or after 1st January 2022.

• Any individual or legal entity may sign up for Most, either individually or collectively, with no age limit.

• You may submit more than one film.

• Submitted films may have been screened and/or rewarded at other festivals.

language and subtitles

• Films in languages other than Catalan or Spanish should be subtitled in english, Catalan or Spanish.

• If there are subtitles, you should send a Word document containing a list of the timings and dialogue in english, Catalan or Spanish.

Format

• A key requisite for all competition films is that they can be screened in professional-quality digital format.

• Any queries on this aspect should be checked with the organization (info@mostfestival.cat).

• The organization reserves the right to reject a film if it fails to meet the necessary technical conditions for public screening.


Submission

The submission of Collita shall be done through the Most Festival distribution platforms:

Expenses

• The expenses for sending material for submitting a film shall be paid by the person submitting the film.

• The organization will cover the expenses of sending and returning copies for screening.

• The organization will not pay exhibition fees if the film enters the official Collita 2024 section.

Rights

• The organization understands that anyone submitting a film for competition holds the rights to said film and shall not be responsible for any situations arising if this is not the case.

Use of the images

• Unless no written indication otherwise is received, the organization may use up to one minute of images from the selected films for promotional and communication purposes.


• Likewise, the VINSEUM Documentation Center (Museum of Wine Cultures of Catalonia) will keep a copy of the selected works with the only purpose of being consulted individually in its facilities.
