I Short competition "Sample of rural cinemas San Bartolomé de las Abierta".
This short contest is intended to bring culture to rural villages.

1. PARTICIPANTS AND SCOPE
Participation in the I Short Film Contest "Show of Rural Cinema SAN BARTOMÉ DE LAS ABIERTAS" all those who wish, regardless of their age and / or nationality, whether professional or amateur and who have their activity in the community of Castilla la Mancha. Likewise, those short films that are filmed in the rural area of ​​one of the localities of the same community may compete.


2. TOPICS AND CATEGORIES
The theme of the shorts must be rural, fundamentally valuing the content and their expression, excluding documentary works. Even so, two categories are established:

1st General Rural Theme.
2nd Theme women in rural areas.


3. SHORT
The short films that are presented must be related to the object of the contest, being able to be silent or with sound incorporated. The language used in the short films must be Spanish or, failing that, must be subtitled in this language.

Each author or entity may submit a maximum of 2 short films, accompanied by the corresponding title and, optionally, a short text explaining said audiovisual project (it will be valued).
The works may be submitted in any format, both physical, DVD, USB, and / or memory card, as digital, services and platforms for viewing or storage in the cloud, with a maximum duration of 20 minutes, the organization reserving the right to Request a copy in physical format if necessary for proper viewing during the sample.

4. Deadlines, PRESENTATION AND SHIPPING
The short film admission period will open on January 22, 2020, ending on April 20, 2020.
The audiovisual archive may be presented in any of the following formats: avi,
.mpg, wma, mp4 or similar. The maximum size will be 8 GB.


Physical format:

Digital format:

The organization reserves the right to request a copy in physical format or relevant supporting documentation, if necessary.


5. JURY
It will be composed of representatives of the organization of the I Rural Cinema Exhibition and its decision will be final, reserving the right to interpret these rules.


The jury may declare the contest void due to the absence of participants or the lack of quality and interest of the short films submitted to the contest.

7. FAILURE AND SHORT FILM PROJECTION
The jury's decision will be announced within the framework of the First Rural Cinema Exhibition in spring 2020. Once it has been verified that the works presented fully comply with these rules, six finalist works (three for each category) will be selected and will be screened. in the House of Culture of San Bartolomé de las Abiertas,
The finalists will become part of the audiovisual archive of the City of San Bartolomé de las Abiertas.


8. ACCEPTANCE OF THE BASES
