Locomoción (locomotion) is an Experimental Animation Festival and takes places in november at Mexico City.

A price will be granted for each Creative Trigger and winning categories (Horror Short Film, Emergent and Professional).

1. All animators around the globe can participate regardless nationality, sex or age.

2. Download the registration form at: https://locomocionfest.wordpress.com/convocatoria/ send it to contacto@locomocionfest.com and submit your proyect trough Festhome.

3. The themes of work are free based on the Creative Triggers listed and the special ‘Morbid’ category. Religious and political messages must be avoided. It's required to include subtitles separately in English or Spanish if the work contains dialogue in other languages. Must be 30 seconds to ten minutes long.

4. Any technique it's allowed as long as it consist of 80% of animation.

5. Each contestant can submit only one work. It can be individual or grupal as long as it is original and it has not participated in pasts Locomoción emissions.

6. Individual or collective works will be received.

7. The presented works will become part of the festival’s archive, we reserve the right to display them through the festival’s touring activities.

8. The jury's decision is final. Winners will be notified via the festival’s contact channels.

9. The jury is conformed by a big arange of people with trayectory in the animation field.

10. The jury will rate the quality of the animation, originality and innovation. Mentions they considers relevant may be granted. These will receive a recognition.

11. A price will be granted for each Creative Trigger and winning categories (Horror Short Film, Emergent and Professional).

12. The awards will be held in the month of October 2015. The exact date will be announced through our social media.
