Festival start: 11 December 2019      Festival end: 14 December 2019

The LA MIRADA TABÚ film festival is a contest that will celebrate its VI Edition in 2019 and whose scope has gone from being national in the first two calls, to Latin American in its third edition, to open it in its fourth edition definitely to the international arena , due to the massive reception of high quality international works.

The festival has a brilliant and successful trajectory, given the excellent reception of which it has been the object of the creators and the public, receiving in the last two editions more than 1500 works to international competition.

It has the vocation to motivate artists and creators to show their view of the “taboo” concept, which is broad and diverse, and encompasses from dreams, the unconscious, the mental worlds and the ghosts that populate them, the mystery, magic, even the untold reality, the unsaid, "the clothes laid", in the workplace, emotional, family, vital ... from a vision as polyhedral as human thought: casual, humorous, dramatic, dreamlike ... always from respect to all ways of thinking and from creativity.

LA MIRADA TABÚ launches an invitation to bring to light the personal and non-transferable world of each creator, which, as we have seen throughout the history of art and cinema, through great names in world cinematography such as Luis Buñuel , Carlos Saura, Stanley Kubrick, Federico Fellini, Michelangelo Antonioni, David Lynch, Terrence Malick, Christopher Nolan, Julio Medem, Alejandro Amenábar ... connects with the deepest, most ignored and unattainable imaginary of the spectators.

First prize of € 1500
• Second prize of € 900
• Special Jury Prize. Diploma
