PERFORMANCE
The Autonomous University of the State of Mexico through the Faculty of Arts and students of the first generation of the Degree in Digital Art, presents the Online Festival Future Asymmetrical (FOFA), which arises as a platform for theoretical discussion and exhibition around the digital art. The festival emerges as a necessary environment analysis and questioning the role of the artist digital space today, for which we propose the following topics:

CALL
to national and international artistic community convenes the exhibition of his visual productions, audio or audiovisual in the Futures Festival Online Asymmetrical, to be held from May 30 to June 3, 2016 on the following website: futurosasimetricos.com
CALL BASES
1. Participation persons of any nationality and grade that are produced and / or having one (not before 2015) and that meets the following categories of the festival recent work: Video Art, Animation, Net Art, Art interactive sound art.
2. THEME. The theme is free in each of the categories.
3. DEADLINE. The call will be open from the publication of these rules until April 30, 2016.
4. FORM OF SHIPPING. The works must climb some of the following platforms: www.festhome.com
attaching the following information:
Part name and year of creation
Surname and first name of the author.
Author's age.
In the video description: 300 words on the content of the work.
Country and city of residence
Education (university or institutional affiliation of origin).
5. CHARACTERISTICS. Video productions must have a resolution of 1080 X 720 H264 compression and a maximum duration of 10 minutes. Any video public will rechazado.Los audios must be in MP3 or WAV format and the download option. The exhibition of the works is online and therefore should be designed for that platform.
6. SELECTION. The selection process will be made by a jury that will evaluate the approach of each work and its relevance according to the categories referred to in the call Festival. (See description of categories). The jury's decision is final.
7. RESULTS. The results of the call will be posted on the event website (futurosasimetricos.com) on 16 May 2016 and the selected will be notified via email. To all the official selection of the festival, you will be given a certificate of participation digitally.
8. Participation in this competition implies acceptance of the rules of the same, with the corresponding transfer of rights to display the contents presented, exclusively for academic purposes. Animation: This is those visual, narrative or experimental productions whose main focus is the generation of moving image, figures, shapes, objects or people from handling various techniques such as stop motion, Cut Out, 3D, among others . Are audiovisual products that have not been designed from the register of the real movement, but of his generation from inanimate objects, allowing a wide possibility of generating realities.
Video Art: This category takes creative freedom in handling the limits of conventional audiovisual language. It is those audiovisual products using the video as accessible tool for experimentation. It allows aesthetic explorations of the image, revealing an audiovisual wealth, which allows raising speeches that go beyond narrative intentions; it is not based on models or institutionalized canons. A piece of video art is distinguished by its properties to generate aesthetic experiences, which seeks to understand the video support of a field of mass communication to the symbolic.
