The Association "ARTS ET METIERS"“ ARTS AND CRAFTS”organizes the twelfth edition of the International Student Film Festival (FIFE) under the motto "Freedom" in collaboration with the IHB Art Media Institute, in Casablanca.
From 12 to 15 December 2023 Casablanca
This new edition offers a space for sharing ideas and experiences, presenting the latest in the audiovisual field, this event provides an opportunity to showcase the productions of young talents and responds to the desire to open up to all filmic experiences from here and elsewhere (documentary films, fiction films, animation films).

5 - Prize:
The festival jury awardsthree prizes for each category:
"Animation Film: 1st prize, 2nd prize, 3rd prize.
"Fiction Film": 1st prize, 2nd prize, 3rd prize.
"Documentary Film": 1st prize, 2nd prize, 3rd prize.

Competition Entry Rules

1. Objectives:

In collaboration with Art Media Institute (IHB), Art & Craft Association organizes the International Student Film Festival (FIFE). The event aims at promoting dialogue and cultural exchange among students from all around the world.

2. Spirit of the films:
The Festival Board limits its selection of films (fiction, documentary, animation 2d and 3d) that:
• Highlight the importance of dialogue and tolerance between people.
• Use of originality and innovation in approaching current issues.
• Promote cultural diversity
• Fight prejudice, discrimination and intolerance.
• Promote the right to cultural difference and dialogue.

3. Eligible Candidates :
Alumniand Final Year Students.
One film per each selected candidate.

4. Jury:
The festival management will designate a jury panel from among renowned film professionals.

5 - Prize:
The festival jury awardsthree prizes for each category:
"Animation Film: 1st prize, 2nd prize, 3rd prize.
"Fiction Film": 1st prize, 2nd prize, 3rd prize.
"Documentary Film": 1st prize, 2nd prize, 3rd prize.

6 - Other Conditions:
Format:Films must besubmitted in highqualitywith a link on vimeo or other
Duration: 2 to 15 minutes.
Visibility: Films should displayat the opening and final creditslogos of their respective
institutions.
Content: Views, thoughts and opinions expressed in the film belong solely to the author and
not necessarily to the festival board and organizers.

7 - Registration:
Submission is limited to 2 films per student.
Films and the following documentsshould be sent by mail:
• Application form completed and signed.
• Technical Data Sheet
• Film synopsis
• Director’s photo
• Film poster
• A copy of diploma or certificate of attendance.
