The Festival de Cine Independiente de Sogamoso – FECISO seeks to position itself as the space that brings together the visions, concerns and interests of both local and national and international filmmakers. It is as well, a bridge between productions and local viewers seeking to immerse themselves in the world of the short-film. A diverse, eclectic world; full of bold and bold proposals that are the reflection of both the guardians of the image and the sound they make and the place where their desires find representation, that allow us to travel from the smallest corner of the department of Boyacá to farthest city from the world, from the help from its people, its worldview, its dreams, its fears, its visions, but above all its cinema.
Winners will be recognized in the following categories:
- Best National Documentary Short Film
- Best International Documentary Short Film
- Best National Fiction Short Film
- Best International Fiction Short Film
- Best Short Film National Animation
- Best International Animation Short Film
- Best short film new filmmakers
The projects presented must not allude or fit into a specific in a given topic. However, we are looking for works that represent the visions, concerns and interests of the filmmakers from all over Colombia and the world; that are an eclectic and heterogeneous reflection of its cinema.
-Registration must only be done through the Festhome platform or the Google Drive form, between December 1st, 2019 and March 1st, 2020.
-Registrations will not be received outside the Festhome or Google Drive platforms, or display copies for the pre-selection process on DVD, Blu-ray and other physical media, without exceptions.
-Short-films that are available to the public on the Internet will not be accepted.
-Short-films registered in previous editions of the Festival de Cine Independiente de Sogamoso will not be accepted.
-The same director or producer may register a maximum of one short-film per category.
-For the selection process, the registered short-films must have Spanish subtitles in case they are not spoken in this language. The filmmakers of the selected short-films agree to deliver the subtitled exhibition copy as appropriate.
-Requirements for projection copies: Resolution 1920x1080 MP4 format.
