PopCorn Film Club is an initiative of ITW Solutions LLP, a 15-year-old creative agency based in Bangalore, India. PopCorn, that so very essential munch, that makes a movie, well a movie! Without it, the drama isn’t quite there.

At the PopCorn Film Club, Performers, Creators, and Storytellers come together to create stories that celebrate diverse thought, foster vibrant conversation, and make an interactive community. Your next spark of curiosity and inspiration is only a dialogue away!

PopCorn Short Film Contest is a yearly competition that began in 2020.

The goal of the PopCorn Short Film Contest is to assist writers/filmmakers in creating their first short film by educating and guiding them through the various stages of filmmaking, from script to screen.

We believe that everyone who would love to make a film should try at least one attempt. It is about the journey, the education, and the experience, rather than a lingering ‘What If’ moment.

To enter our contest, you must have a story synopsis that is original and all rights must be owned entirely by the writer (s).

As the contest progresses, participants will be assigned tasks that will propel them to the next level of competition. The final stage of the contest is to make a short film.

- PopCorn Film Club (A Division Of ITW Solutions LLP) will produce the top 3 best Short Films (screenplays) within the Rs 50000/-budget.
- All participants will receive an exclusive webinar on "How to make a short film".
- All competitors and their crew members receive a free one-year membership in our community portal and Facebook group
- E-certificate of participation

- Entries must be submitted online via FilmFreeway between June 10th, 2021, and August 15th,2021, with the regular fee.

- There is no limit to the number of projects you may submit.

- Anyone who is 18 years of age and above can apply for the contest

- Adult guardians or parents may submit on your behalf of minors.

- The story must be typed and submitted electronically as a PDF; handwritten entries will not be accepted.

- Only entries from India are permitted.

- The short film synopsis (Story) must be at least one page long and no more than two pages long.

- The synopsis (Story) should be written in English. Other languages accepted include Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, but they must be accompanied by English translations. In such cases, the story can go on for up to two more pages.

- When submitting the story synopsis, ensure that your story has a length that can be turned into a short film with a screen time of at least 015:00 minutes and up to 30:00 minutes including credits.

-The title page should include the title of the story as well as the writer's or filmmaker's name, email address, and phone number.

-Entry fee for each story varies based on the deadline date. Please refer to the submission fees listed at popconfilmclub.com

- All submitted material must be original, and all rights must be wholly owned by the writer/filmmaker

- We do not accept Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations and stories that are not suitable for public view.

- The submitter shall indemnify and hold harmless POPCORN MOBILE SHORT FILM CONTEST ( A Division of ITW Solutions LLP) from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the story/videos entered.

- POPCORN FILM CLUB(Division of ITW Solutions LLP) reserves the right to refuse to accept any submission deemed by the contest to be inappropriate.

- Decision taken by the POPCORN FILM CLUB (Division of ITW Solutions LLP) management during eliminations and while deciding the WINNER of the contest would remain final.

- The submitter should not make any comments/statements in public (over Visual, Print, or Social media) that would negatively affect the reputation of POPCORN FILM CLUB, ITW SOLUTIONS LLP( Parent company), or partners who are associated with PopCorn Short Film Contest. If any such comments/statements are made and if you are found guilty, POPCORN FILM CLUB ( Division ITW SOLUTIONS LLP) has all rights to take legal action against the submitter.

- Qualification does not ensure selection. No reason will be given as to why your qualifying film was not selected as is customary in all competitions.

- Any submissions which are incomplete by our final deadline will be disqualified without refund of submission fees.

-All Accepted Submissions & Contest Winners will be notified via personal e-mail.

- The winner(Filmmaker/Writer or Team lead) of the short film contest must sign a production agreement before production starts.

- All fees are non-refundable

- Dispute if any are subject to Bangalore, India Jurisdiction only
