The 8th ZINEBI Networking Professional Forum 2025 is aimed at emerging filmmakers and production companies from Spain, including the Basque Country, with feature-length documentary projects of at least 60 minutes. Submissions are accepted in development or post-production, with a creative, author-driven approach to non-fiction.
Selected projects receive personalized mentorship, one-on-one sessions with industry professionals, and presentations to a specialized jury. Travel, accommodation, and per diem expenses are covered for one accredited person per project, providing visibility and professional support throughout the project’s development.
Three awards of €10,000 each will be granted: one for Basque projects, one for the rest of Spain, and one specifically for projects in development. Online follow-up sessions are also provided to support project completion and professional growth. The forum takes place within the framework of the festival’s 67th edition, including private screenings and networking opportunities with the national documentary industry.

The Methos Media Special Call 2025 was organized by Iberseries & Platino Industria to support audiovisual projects from Ibero-America with cultural and family values and strong international potential.
It targeted filmmakers, producers, and creators of fiction, documentary, and animation, in series or feature film formats, who were in an advanced stage of development and had at least 30% confirmed financing.
Up to 20 projects were selected to participate in one-on-one meetings with Methos Media representatives during the fifth edition of Iberseries & Platino Industria, held from September 30 to October 3, 2025, in Madrid.
The main goal was to provide strategic contacts and development opportunities for promising projects, fostering the production of high-quality content with international reach. The call aimed to enhance the visibility of Ibero-American talent and promote partnerships that enable the realization and distribution of their projects.

Methos Media - Iberseries & Platino Industria
The Mexican Work in Progress Competition is part of the 20th edition of Shorts México – Mexico International Short Film Festival, taking place from September 1 to 30, 2025. This section is aimed at Mexican short films in post-production or finalization stages. Its goal is to support and showcase projects in development, facilitating their completion and subsequent exhibition.
The call for entries is open from February 17 to May 31, 2025, at 23:59 (CST). Selected projects will have the opportunity to be presented to industry professionals, which can facilitate their completion and distribution. Additionally, they may receive guidance and support to finalize their short films.

Shorts México - Work in Progress
Weird Market 2025 is an international event taking place in Valencia from September 30 to October 5, focused on animation, video games, transmedia, comics, and board games. Its aim is to increase the visibility of emerging creative projects and promote European co-productions.
The call for projects is open to European projects at any production stage: pre-production, production, or completed. Accepted formats include animated feature films and shorts, series, web series, video games (including VR), innovative transmedia projects, comics, and board games.
Selected projects will be featured in the event’s official catalog, reaching thousands of industry professionals, and some will be presented during Weird Market, creating networking, collaboration, and funding opportunities.
