El VdR–Work in Progress Showcase, que se llevará a cabo durante los VdR–Industry Days (del 6 al 9 de abril de 2025) en Nyon, Suiza, es una presentación exclusiva de proyectos próximos a su finalización dirigida a profesionales del cine. Entre ellos se encuentran representantes de festivales, financiadores de postproducción, instalaciones de producción, agentes de ventas, distribuidores, compradores de televisión y más.
Las presentaciones serán seguidas de reuniones individuales cuidadosamente seleccionadas, diseñadas para establecer nuevos socios que contribuyan a asegurar fondos finales y explorar futuras vías de distribución.

VdR–Work in Progress
El Rough Cut Lab, que se llevará a cabo durante los VdR–Industry Days (del 6 al 9 de abril de 2025) en Nyon, Suiza, es un laboratorio competitivo diseñado para apoyar a los cineastas en el proceso de edición, ayudándolos a encontrar la mejor dirección creativa para sus películas.
En este taller, que forma parte del programa VdR–Industry, se trabajan cuatro cortes preliminares junto con el equipo de filmación y tutores, quienes son editores experimentados y profesionales de la industria. Además, la participación en este laboratorio, concebido como un trampolín para documentales creativos, brinda la oportunidad de tener reuniones seleccionadas con una amplia variedad de compradores que asisten al programa de la industria.

VdR–Rough Cut Lab
Ibermedia promotes the distribution and circulation of non-national films from Ibero-American cinemas within the national territories of distribution companies. This is achieved through proposals that implement traditional, non-traditional, or hybrid distribution and exhibition models, incorporating innovative and creative forms of in-person distribution and/or exhibition. These proposals must also include a promotion and audience plan, aiming to bring Ibero-American cinema closer to regional audiences.

So we match strategically timed grants with creative mentorship and community, building peer networks and bringing artists together to learn from and champion one another. This support system is tailored for the unique challenges women and gender-expansive people experience in their filmmaking and career trajectories. Since our founding, Chicken & Egg Films has awarded over $14 million in grants and devoted thousands of hours of creative mentorship to over 500 filmmakers from around the world. Films supported by our work have been nationally and internationally recognized with the industry’s highest honors, including Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, and Peabody Awards. And they have raised visibility and driven social change on urgent issues.
