MIPCOM - Cannes
La Residencia ALGA Iberoamericana 2026 es una convocatoria de formación presencial para cineastas y profesionales del audiovisual, enfocada en proyectos de largometraje y serie en desarrollo. La postulación está abierta hasta el 31 de enero de 2026 y se dirige a personas de Iberoamérica, España y Portugal, aceptando participantes internacionales dentro de esa región. No se excluyen géneros ni temáticas, y se aceptan proyectos de ficción, documental, animación o experimental en desarrollo. La residencia se realiza en Valdivia, Chile, en sesiones de cuatro semanas con grupos distintos: Grupo 1 (27 de abril – 22 de mayo 2026), Grupo 2 (1 – 26 de junio 2026) y Grupo 3 (6 – 31 de julio 2026). Durante ese tiempo los seleccionados reciben acompañamiento creativo e industrial, actividades formativas y espacio para trabajar en sus proyectos. La convocatoria es parte de un programa de fortalecimiento y desarrollo de obras audiovisuales en fases tempranas.

Residencia Alga
The Venice Production Bridge 2025 will take place from August 28 to September 3 during the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. This platform is designed to boost the financing and co-production of audiovisual projects in advanced development stages. It brings together global industry professionals through initiatives such as the Venice Gap-Financing Market, which showcases fiction feature films, creative documentaries, and immersive projects that have at least 70% of their funding secured.
Other key sections include Final Cut in Venice, supporting post-production films from Africa and the Arab world; the Book Adaptation Rights Market, connecting publishers and literary agents with producers; and the Venice Immersive Market, focused on XR, VR, and AR experiences. Additionally, the Meet the Streamers program facilitates direct contact with streaming and VOD platforms. In 2025, the spotlight will be on the United Kingdom, Chile, and Morocco, with curated events promoting their film industries.

Venice Production Bridge
El Pitching del Festival Internacional de Cine de Huesca es un espacio destinado a apoyar a cineastas emergentes en el desarrollo de sus proyectos de cortometraje. Está abierto a distintos géneros, incluyendo ficción, documental, animación, experimental y videoclips, y busca conectar a los autores con productores interesados en fomentar nuevos talentos.
Los proyectos seleccionados presentan sus ideas en un formato de pitching en vivo de diez minutos, seguido de una sesión de preguntas y respuestas. La participación puede ser presencial u online, y los cineastas invitados reciben un diploma y, en caso de asistencia presencial, una noche de alojamiento y una comida cubierta por la organización.
La convocatoria está abierta a proyectos en fase de desarrollo o en texto, independientemente de la nacionalidad del autor. Los materiales solicitados incluyen sinopsis, CV del equipo y guion o tratamiento del proyecto. La fecha límite de envío para la edición 2026 fue el 19 de marzo de 2026, y la sesión de pitching se realizará el 11 de junio de 2026 en Huesca, España. PITCHING - Festival Internacional De Cine De Huesca
IndieLisboa Lab is a film project development workshop aimed at Portuguese filmmakers or foreign residents with permanent residency in Portugal. Its goal is to provide mentorship and training focused on narrative development, creative vision, and preparing projects for both the national and international markets.
The 2026 edition application deadline is January 16, 2026. The lab activities will take place in two phases: the first from March 27 to 29, 2026, and the second from May 3 to 6, 2026.
Projects of any genre are accepted, including fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental. The lab targets projects in development, whether short or feature films, providing mentorship, feedback, and professional guidance.
Although some foreign participants may apply if they meet the residency requirement in Portugal, the call is not open internationally to all countries. It is primarily a national initiative aimed at strengthening the Portuguese film industry.
