El programa Meet Them! es una iniciativa del Departamento de Industria del Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebastián, destinada a reunir a profesionales del sector audiovisual de diversas regiones. Su objetivo es facilitar el encuentro directo con el festival, ampliar redes de contacto y fomentar la colaboración en proyectos cinematográficos. Se seleccionan productores, directores y otros profesionales con proyectos en desarrollo, preproducción o producción, principalmente largometrajes y documentales con potencial de coproducción internacional. La convocatoria se lanza a través de entidades locales o nacionales, que gestionan la inscripción y selección de participantes. Los seleccionados participan en actividades de networking, presentaciones y reuniones durante el festival. La inscripción suele requerir enviar una ficha técnica del proyecto, dossier, CV y carta de motivación dentro del plazo establecido. Es una oportunidad única para conectar con la industria cinematográfica global y potenciar la visibilidad y financiación de los proyectos.

SSIFF - Meet Them!
Our Short Film Fund initiative supports the production of a short film screenplay (20 pages max) or the completion of a short film (under 20 minutes) with a grant of up to £5,000 (approx $6,300), a kit rental package, and in-kind post production services. Filmmakers can apply without a producer – we can help you find one if your project is selected.

Unsolicited Scripts Short Film Fund
The Magic Screenplay call is a special section of the San Benedetto International Film Festival (SBFF), held in San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy. This contest aims to discover and promote new talents in screenwriting, both nationally and internationally. The main objective is to select the best pitch with a predefined theme, which will then be developed into a complete script and produced as a short film of no more than 15 minutes. This project will be produced by the Associated Professionals Association of Art & Management "IL SERPENTE AUREO," in collaboration with the FILM COMMISSION MARCHE and the MARCHE REGION, under the patronage of the City of San Benedetto del Tronto.

CINEMA POVERO - GUIÓN
Short film script competition of up to 30 pages. Scripts that exceed that number of pages will not be accepted. All genders are welcome. The official selections will be limited to the 5 best finalists, whose scripts will be read at a table at the festival itself, performed by professional actors. A complete block of live readings for the top 5 scripts! 1st, 2nd and 3rd place (of the 5 live table reads) will be announced at the awards ceremony.
