BOGOSHORTS Film Market (BFM) 2026 invites audiovisual companies, institutions and industry organizations to participate in one of Ibero-America’s leading markets dedicated to short films. The program brings together production companies, distributors, sales agents, film festivals, film schools, funding bodies, streaming platforms and audiovisual service providers to foster business opportunities, strategic partnerships and professional networking.
Selected organizations will take part in industry meetings, networking activities and one-on-one sessions with filmmakers, producers and short film projects participating in the market. BOGOSHORTS Film Market will be held in Bogotá, Colombia, from December 1–8, 2026, as part of the 24th Bogotá Short Film Festival – BOGOSHORTS.
Applications are open from April 9 to August 6, 2026, and the selected organizations will be announced on October 23, 2026.

SEMILLERU LAB - Development
The Ibero-American Work In Progress (WIP) of SANFIC Industria will hold its 14th edition from August 17–22, 2025, in Santiago, Chile. This initiative supports Ibero-American fiction and documentary films in postproduction, aiming to help them reach completion and international exposure. Submissions are open until May 26, 2025. Up to 10 projects will be selected for hybrid screenings with industry professionals. Selected films compete for awards including postproduction services, consulting, and entry into markets like MAFIZ (Málaga). SANFIC Industria stands out as a key platform for the international promotion of emerging Ibero-American cinema.

WIP - Sanfic
The Cinema Pendent Development Lab, part of L’Alternativa PRO 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, is a call dedicated to feature film projects in the writing or development stage. It is aimed at directors, screenwriters, and producers working on fiction, hybrid, or experimental films, with a focus on strengthening the narrative, conceptual, and artistic foundations of projects at an early stage.
The call is open to international applicants and will select four projects to participate in an intensive development program with professional guidance and mentorship. Selected projects will also receive a €500 grant to support their in-person participation.
Applications are open until June 25, 2026. The laboratory will take place in person in Barcelona from November 12–22, 2026, as part of the professional activities of the L’Alternativa Independent Film Festival. The program is specifically designed for feature-length projects seeking creative development and support for innovative, author-driven cinematic proposals.
