Proyecta is an initiative within the Ventana Sur audiovisual market designed to promote international co-production between Europe and Latin America. The 8th edition will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from December 1 to 5, 2025, as part of Ventana Sur, with an in-person pitching session on December 3 and professional networking throughout the event. Proyecta accepts international submissions, welcoming producers from both Europe and Latin America with feature film projects in development (first or second films) in both fiction and non-fiction. Selected projects are presented to industry professionals, co-producers, sales agents, and programmers to help secure partnerships and financing. The call is specifically for feature films over 60 minutes and does not include short films or animation. For 2025, twelve projects were selected from a range of countries, highlighting the international scope of the program. The submission period closed before October, with selections announced in October 2025. Proyecta serves as a pitching and co-production platform within the Ventana Sur market, helping emerging filmmakers connect with global industry opportunities.

Proyecta – VENTANA SUR
The Ikusmira Berriak 2025 call seeks audiovisual projects in development that bring new perspectives and approaches to contemporary cinema. It is aimed at emerging filmmakers who wish to develop their projects in a professional and collaborative environment. Innovative and original proposals are especially valued, with no limitations on genre or theme. The program provides space, time, context, and resources for the development of the selected projects.

SSIFF - Ikusmira Berriak
The Navarra, Tierra de Cine 2025 short film contest will select 10 fiction projects set in Navarre locations for shooting and tourism promotion. Anyone over 18, regardless of nationality, may participate with an original script up to 10 minutes long. The submission deadline is August 10, 2025. Selected projects will receive logistical support, accommodation, and mentoring, and will attend a project incubator in August. The film must be shot in Navarre and delivered by November 19, 2025. Cash prizes will be awarded for the best short films, acting, photography, and audience favorite, with a first prize of €2,500. Registration requires sending the script, project proposal, production plan, and personal documents in a single PDF.

Short Film Contest Navarra, Land of Cinema
Abycine – Albacete Independent Film Festival and Film Market 2026 will take place in Albacete, Spain, from October 20 to 29, 2026. The submission deadline is July 26, 2026. The call is mainly focused on Spanish independent cinema, accepting works produced in Spain or connected to filmmakers with Spanish nationality or residence.
The festival welcomes fiction, documentary, animation, fantasy, horror, experimental and other audiovisual genres. In addition to its film exhibition program, Abycine includes an industry section with professional activities such as Pitch, Work in Progress, completed projects, laboratory and market initiatives, mainly through Abycine Lanza.
The call accepts short films and feature films, as well as audiovisual projects in different stages of development, production or completion through its professional programs. ABYCINE LAUNCHES – AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL
ABYCINE Lanza 2026 is the audiovisual industry market of the Independent Film Festival of Albacete (Spain), focused on supporting film projects and creating professional networking opportunities within the independent film sector. The market includes pitching sessions, project development, Work in Progress programs, professional meetings, and connections with producers, distributors, sales agents, and industry representatives.
The project calls include different sections such as Impulso CMM Desarrollo, aimed at feature films in development, and Work in Progress programs for films in advanced production or post-production stages. Project submission deadlines take place in July 2026, depending on the category.
The festival and market will take place in October 2026 in Albacete, Spain. Professional accreditation for attending the market as an industry participant (without submitting a project) is managed through a separate registration process, with opening and closing dates announced by the organization.
