Hatching Ravens es la principal convocatoria internacional del BIF Market, el mercado de industria del Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, dedicada al impulso de proyectos de cine de género en etapa de desarrollo. Su objetivo es conectar proyectos con productores, fondos, agentes de ventas y festivales especializados.
Para la edición 2026, la convocatoria abre el 1 de diciembre de 2025 y cierra el 2 de febrero de 2026. El mercado se realizará de forma presencial en Bruselas entre el 13 y el 17 de abril de 2026, con actividades complementarias en formato online.
La convocatoria acepta postulaciones internacionales y está dirigida a proyectos de largometraje de ficción pertenecientes al cine de género, incluyendo terror, horror, fantasía, ciencia ficción, thriller, comedia negra y animación de género. Los proyectos pueden encontrarse en desarrollo medio, avanzado o en etapa de postproducción temprana.
Hatching Ravens funciona como un espacio de Work in Progress y mercado, ofreciendo sesiones de pitch, reuniones uno a uno y oportunidades de visibilidad internacional, consolidándose como una plataforma estratégica para el cine de género contemporáneo.

Hatching Ravens - BIF Market
La Belgian Fantastic Pitchbox es una convocatoria organizada por el BIF Market en Bélgica, orientada al desarrollo de proyectos de largometraje de ficción de cine de género. Está dirigida exclusivamente a creadores y creadoras residentes en Bélgica, por lo que no acepta postulaciones internacionales.
La convocatoria recibe proyectos pertenecientes a géneros como fantástico, terror, thriller, ciencia ficción, fantasía, surrealismo, comedia negra y crimen, siempre en etapa de desarrollo. El enfoque principal es el pitch de proyectos, acompañado por instancias de formación y mentorías previas a la presentación final.
Las postulaciones están abiertas desde el 22 de diciembre de 2025 y cierran el 2 de febrero de 2026, siendo esta la última fecha límite para aplicar. Las actividades de formación de pitch se realizan los días 2 y 6 de marzo de 2026, y la sesión final de pitch tiene lugar el 17 de abril de 2026, dentro del marco del BIF Market 2026, que se desarrolla entre el 13 y el 17 de abril de 2026.

The Industry Academy Chile is an intensive training program created by the Locarno Film Festival in 2014, designed to foster innovation among young professionals in the film industry. The program focuses on key areas such as distribution, sales, film marketing, exhibition, and festival programming.
This program is developed in collaboration with SANFIC (Santiago International Film Festival) in Chile, with the goal of providing participants with practical and strategic tools to strengthen their skills in the audiovisual industry. The Industry Academy Chile takes place within the framework of SANFIC, a major platform for independent Latin American and global cinema.
Throughout the program, participants have the opportunity to attend masterclasses, workshops, mentoring sessions, and networking activities, which allow them to expand their contacts and strengthen their presence in the international market. Additionally, the selected participants receive training on essential industry aspects, such as the development and commercialization of film projects, international distribution, and the dynamics of film festivals.
