Montevideo Cine LAB – LAB SERIES 2026 es un laboratorio de desarrollo para proyectos originales de series dirigido a guionistas, realizadores y productores. La convocatoria está destinada a personas uruguayas y a extranjeras con residencia legal en Uruguay de al menos cinco años. Se aceptan proyectos de cualquier género, formato o modelo de producción, siempre que se encuentren en etapa de desarrollo, cuenten con un mínimo de cuatro episodios y no hayan iniciado su rodaje.
El laboratorio se realizará de manera presencial en Montevideo, Uruguay, del 13 al 17 de octubre de 2026, ofreciendo tutorías especializadas y espacios de trabajo para fortalecer el desarrollo creativo y de producción de los proyectos. La fecha límite de postulación es el 23 de agosto de 2026 a las 23:59 horas. Los proyectos seleccionados podrán acceder a premios que incluyen apoyo para la realización de un teaser o piloto y la participación en un mercado internacional.

The "Desafío en una Toma 2025" call is part of the DETOUR.uy New Film Festival, aimed at Uruguayan audiovisual artists and students aged 18 and over. The goal is to promote comedy short films shot in a single continuous take, with a maximum length of 5 minutes. Works must be filmed between July and September 2025 and submitted in digital format (.MP4 HD). Submission deadline is September 14, 2025, with finalists announced on September 20 and screening during the festival's 13th edition in October 2025. Bolivia Lab - Rally de Pitch
The CineLab Chile call is an initiative by the Chilean Film Academy in partnership with Netflix to support the development of feature films directed by women or individuals with female gender experience. It is aimed at emerging filmmakers with projects in the first or second stage of development.
Up to eight projects will be selected to receive mentorship, masterclasses, and support to enhance their scripts and production. The call is open until August 20, 2025, with activities starting in October, including virtual sessions and in-person meetings in December, covering expenses for two members per project.
Projects must be fiction feature films with no narrative genre restrictions. Applications are made exclusively through the official site cinelab.cl, where guidelines and forms are available. The program promotes gender equity in the Chilean audiovisual industry by supporting the training and development of emerging filmmakers.
