Los programas para artistas del Instituto Sundance brindan apoyo dinámico en cada paso del viaje creativo para personas con voces distintas en el cine y la narración episódica. Cada programa consta de laboratorios, becas, intensivos, sesiones y recursos continuos para que los artistas fomenten sus proyectos y sostengan sus carreras. A través de actividades durante todo el año, brindamos el espacio para que los artistas creen y compartan sus historias con el mundo. Desde nuestros inicios, los programas del Instituto han apoyado a más de 11.000 artistas y han fomentado una comunidad para que los narradores independientes aprendan, crezcan, se conecten y retribuyan.

Syncro Lab 2025 is the training and development call of the Syncro Film Fest, aimed at people over 18 years old residing in Argentina. It is a short film script competition open to fiction, non-fiction, or hybrid projects, with a maximum length of 20 pages (PDF format, Courier 12, single spacing).

Submissions are open from February 3 to May 7, 2025, with an entry fee of ARS 7,000. Up to 10 scripts will be selected, and their authors will take part in group mentoring and development sessions during the festival, which will be held June 16–19, 2025 in Buenos Aires.

A jury will choose one winning script, which will receive ARS 500,000, plus professional post‑production services (5.1 mix, color grading, DCP and export deliveries), distribution by Hablemos de Langostas, and support for material delivery. Technical prizes must be used within one year.

Syncro Lab is an excellent opportunity to boost your short film project and connect with the independent film industry.

CineMart, the 43rd edition of IFFR Pro’s co-production market, will take place during the 55th International Film Festival Rotterdam from January 29 to February 8, 2026. For the first time, it introduces CineMart x HBF, highlighting projects supported by the Hubert Bals Fund. The call is open for feature-length and immersive projects in development seeking co-production and financing partners. There is a tiered fee structure: early (€25 excl. VAT) until July 7, 2025; standard (€35) until August 21; late (€55) until the final deadline on August 27, 2025. Projects must be debuting at Rotterdam, viable, and led by a director-producer team. Feature films need a minimum 60‑minute runtime, full script available during CineMart, at least secured national or third‑party funding, budgets under €6M, and international coproduction potential. Immersive works (VR/AR/MR/360°) should be in development, with ≥25 % of the budget secured, created by experienced immersive artists, new to the market, with full documentation in English. Deadline: August 27, 2025.

The Iberseries & Platino Industria Showrunners Workshop is a specialized training aimed at professionals with experience or education in creation, writing, directing, or audiovisual production. Its goal is to develop skills for managing and producing Spanish-language series, with practical training and personalized mentoring. Up to 9 finalist projects are selected, presented by one or two participants who hold or are authorized to present the rights of their projects.

The fifth edition will take place from September 30 to October 3, 2025, at Matadero Madrid. The application deadline is June 5, 2025. During the workshop, participants receive intensive training, expert talks, and one-on-one meetings with audiovisual industry executives.

To participate, you need a Spanish-language project and accreditation by Iberseries & Platino Industria. More information and full terms are available on the official website.

The Berlinale Co-Production Market is one of the Berlinale's industry initiatives alongside the European Film Market, Berlinale Talents and World Cinema Fund. It is the festival's five-day event bringing together 600 select international producers, sales agents, distributors as well as broadcasting and funding representatives who are actively working in international co-productions. New feature and drama series projects are presented and can find co-production and financing partners here.
