IDFA - Industry Program
This is an opportunity for filmmakers, producers, distributors, film schools, among others, to meet with programmers from the most important international film festivals. The goal of this meeting is to deepen the understanding of the specifics of each event and promote films within the international circuit. Meet the Festivals is part of the Curtas Pro section of the 33rd Curtas Vila do Conde IFF and is limited to 24 participants. MEET THE FESTIVALS - Curtas Vila do Conde IFF
The Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum at the 2025 San Sebastián Film Festival will take place from September 19–27. It targets feature film projects in development (minimum 60 minutes), submitted by production companies based in Europe or Latin America. European projects must have a clear link to Latin America (e.g., co-production, theme, location). Projects must have at least 20% financing secured, a budget in euros, and involve the director. Innovation in format and distribution, as well as the director’s past work, will be valued. Selected projects will present via pre-recorded pitchings and one-to-one meetings. Applications are open from April 16 to June 16, 2025. Projects can win up to €10,000 and access international industry platforms like Cannes and Ventana Sur.

SSIFF - Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum
ALGA Residency is open to filmmakers and audiovisual professionals from Ibero-America, Spain, and Portugal. It supports feature films and series in development, of any genre or format, including fiction, documentary, and experimental. The residency lasts 4 weeks, from August 18 to September 14, 2025, in Valdivia, Chile. Participants will receive mentorship, accommodation, internal transport, and a stipend (400,000 CLP), with 500 USD for international travel.
Applications are open until April 24, 2025, with a registration fee of 25,000 CLP or 25 USD. Selected projects will be announced on June 15, 2025.

Pitching is the competition section of ANIMARKT. It gives you the opportunity to present your project to a group of experts from the global animation industry, gain partners and win prizes that will bring the creators closer to making the film.
