Producers Meet Producers (PMP) 2026 is an audiovisual incubation program organized by the Audiovisual Producers of Catalonia (PAC), held within the Industry Hub of the Sitges Film Festival in Spain. It is a meeting space between emerging production companies and established professionals designed to support the development of audiovisual projects across multiple formats and genres.

The 2026 call for applications is open from May 4 to June 19, 2026, through the INCOPRODUCTION platform. Selected projects will be announced at the end of July 2026, and the industry event will take place on October 14, 2026 in Sitges, Catalonia (Spain).

The program is primarily aimed at emerging production companies based in Catalonia, although participation is defined by the official call’s criteria. It accepts fiction and documentary projects in formats such as short films, feature films, series, and transmedia works, with no genre restrictions.

PMP operates as an incubation scheme combining mentorship, consultancy sessions, training, networking, and industry access, aiming to strengthen audiovisual projects in development within the sector.

The WomanInFan – Sitges FanLab 2026 call, part of the Sitges Film Festival (Spain), is an international training and development residency focused on women creators working in fantasy genre cinema. The call opens on March 9, 2026, and the final submission deadline is June 30, 2026 (11:59 PM). Selected projects will be announced on September 1, 2026, and the program activities take place during the Sitges Film Festival from October 8 to October 18, 2026, including a dedicated residency within that period.

This initiative functions as a laboratory and industry training program, aimed at projects in early development stages. It focuses on fantasy genre content, including horror, science fiction, fantasy, and experimental cinema. It primarily accepts feature films and short films, along with other audiovisual projects in development, depending on the festival’s framework.

The call is international in scope, allowing submissions from different countries, although certain program strands may have specific eligibility conditions. Its main goal is to support project development through training, mentorship, and industry networking opportunities within the Sitges Fantastic Film Festival ecosystem.

Cine Pendiente 2025 launches the “Corto y Claro” call for short film projects, aimed at directors, screenwriters, and producers. Four projects will be selected to participate in group feedback sessions and comprehensive training activities. The goal is to strengthen projects through personalized guidance and to prepare production and distribution strategies based on each project’s development stage.

Activities will take place in person and require the active participation of at least the main creator of each project. It is important to note that Cine Pendiente does not cover travel, accommodation, or material preparation expenses, which must be borne by the participants.

This call offers a valuable opportunity to enhance the development and visibility of short films in progress, through professional and collaborative support in a learning environment.
