The workshop is dedicated to directors and scriptwriters with a project in an early stage of development – initial idea, synopsis, short treatment – for a short film of any kind (animation, documentary, experimental and fiction) from the following countries: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Lebanon, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey.

MIP CANCÚN 2025 is the leading content and co-production market for Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market, taking place November 18–21, 2025, at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancún. It targets audiovisual professionals including producers, buyers, distributors, platforms, and brands.
There are four participation options: Networking Pass, Content Market, Co-Production Market, and Meeting Pods. All formats include accommodation, meals, access to conferences, screenings, and a digital platform for 1-on-1 meetings.
Spots are limited, especially for those formats involving pre-scheduled meetings. While no official registration deadline has been announced, early registration is strongly recommended to ensure access to the matchmaking system, which launches in early November.
The 2025 edition will feature special programs such as the Creator Economy Track (with a keynote by YouTube), the Branded Content Program, and the Beyond the Stream Summit. The all-inclusive format fosters networking, global exposure, and effective deal-making in a single location.

MIPCOM - Cannes
The Queer Incubator: Santiago–Guadalajara, organized by SANFIC Industria and the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), is aimed at Latin American fiction feature film projects in the screenwriting stage with an artistic deck. Projects must be led in directing and screenwriting by professionals who identify as part of LGBTIQ+ communities or whose gender-diverse identities and expressions inform their creative experiences and perspectives.
The initiative operates as a project lab and incubator, offering group and individual mentoring with international professionals. It is open to productions and project representatives who originate from or reside in Latin American countries.
The final application deadline is September 16, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Santiago time. In-person activities will take place in Santiago, Chile, from November 2–6, 2027, and in Guadalajara, Mexico, from March 6–13, 2027.

Incubadora Queer - Sanfic
The Storylines Lab is designed for narrative feature film projects at an early stage of development, from early concept to treatment stage. The lab is held virtually through online sessions and has a duration of two weeks.
The lab gives independent filmmakers from around the world the opportunity to work intensively on the creative development of their projects in an environment structured to foster professional collaboration and high-quality project development.
The lab is facilitated by a professional in the field with long-standing experience. In addition to the guidance provided by the facilitator through workshop sessions and one-on-one meetings, the lab offers the participants the opportunity to workshop their projects with other international filmmakers, be part of a community of like-minded artists, and access the Cine Qua Non Lab film professional network.
