El IX Taller de Proyectos Cinematográficos de Centroamérica y Caribe abre su convocatoria para cineastas de la región con proyectos de largometraje en desarrollo (ficción, documental o híbrido). Se seleccionarán hasta 15 proyectos que participarán en el taller intensivo del 18 al 27 de octubre de 2025 en Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Organizado por Ibermedia, con el apoyo del Instituto Hondureño de Cine (IHC) y la AECID, el taller ofrece asesoría especializada en guion, dirección, producción y distribución. La participación es gratuita y está dirigida a guionistas, directores/as y productores/as centroamericanos y caribeños con experiencia previa.

The Rotterdam Lab 2026 is a program for emerging international film producers seeking to expand their professional network and develop feature-length projects with international co-production potential. It is open to independent producers, freelancers, or junior producers in production companies, with no age limit, who have completed at least two short films and are working on their first or second feature.
The program prioritizes diversity and inclusion, especially welcoming applicants from minority, indigenous, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, disabled communities, or underrepresented regions in the international film industry.
Selected participants receive full access to IFFR Pro and CineMart 2026, including accreditation for meetings, screenings, networking events, and five nights of accommodation. Travel expenses are not covered.
The lab takes place during the International Film Festival Rotterdam, from late January to early February 2026. Applicants must submit an application form, CV, and motivation letter, with an optional portfolio or dossier. The main focus is on the international potential of the project and the producer’s ability to contribute to and benefit from the lab.

Lab - IFFR
MIA 2025 is now accepting submissions from producers with development projects in the Animation, Documentary, Drama, and Film categories. Up to 50 international projects will be selected, aiming for co-production, financing, or pre-sale agreements. Eligible projects must be intended for theatrical release, television broadcast, or digital streaming platforms. The submission deadline is June 19, 2025, by 5:00 PM CEST.
Selected projects will participate in the Pitching Forum during the event, held in Rome from October 6 to 10, 2025. They will also be eligible for the MIA Development Awards, each offering a €5,000 cash prize per category.
Participation is open to lead producers with a registered production company. Multiple projects may be submitted, provided each meets the eligibility criteria. All materials must be submitted in English.

MIA CO-PRODUCTION MARKET
The Hollywood Storytellers Script Competition is an international screenwriting contest open to feature films, shorts, and TV pilots across all genres. The submission deadline is November 2, 2025. Scripts must be submitted in English as PDFs and meet standard length requirements per category. The jury consists of industry professionals from major studios such as Disney, Netflix, and Warner Bros. Participants can optionally request executive feedback with a free resubmission option.
