La residencia de composición musical CASA CINE 2026 está dirigida a compositores de música para cine interesados en desarrollar proyectos de largometraje. La convocatoria es internacional, abierta a participantes de cualquier nacionalidad, y se centra en la creación de bandas sonoras originales para películas de ficción, documental o animación.
Las postulaciones para compositores estarán abiertas del 15 de enero al 15 de febrero de 2026. La residencia se llevará a cabo del 6 al 29 de mayo de 2026 en el Château de la Napoule, Francia, coincidiendo con el Festival de Cannes. Durante este período, los seleccionados trabajarán intensamente en la composición musical de sus proyectos, recibiendo asesoramiento especializado y la oportunidad de colaborar con guionistas y cineastas.
El programa está diseñado para fortalecer las habilidades de composición cinematográfica dentro de un entorno creativo e internacional, ofreciendo un espacio para el desarrollo artístico y la presentación de los proyectos frente a profesionales de la industria. La convocatoria se centra exclusivamente en largometrajes, no aceptando series ni cortometrajes.

Residencia de Compositores – CASA CINE
The IBF Classic call from the IDFA Bertha Fund targets filmmakers from selected countries in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Oceania working on creative documentaries. It aims to support projects in development, production, or post-production. The call primarily accepts feature-length documentaries, though some short films may qualify if they meet quality and country criteria. Series, interactive projects, or academic content are not eligible.
Applications for the 2026 round close on February 10, 2026. After review by experts and a selection committee, results are generally announced in April or May, at which point selected filmmakers receive funding. There is no formal award ceremony, but funded projects may be showcased at festivals or industry markets for visibility.
The program focuses on supporting high-quality documentary productions with international potential, offering financial support and industry exposure.

IBF Classic - IDFA
The Impact call from the Curaçao International Film Festival (CIFF) in collaboration with the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) aims to support filmmakers with fiction or documentary feature films in post-production. Its main goal is to provide professional and constructive feedback from international experts, helping to strengthen and complete projects for festival screenings and industry markets.
Filmmakers from the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, including the diaspora, are eligible, with projects between 60 and 120 minutes in length. The call focuses on a Work in Progress format, offering direct guidance from industry professionals, private screenings, and opportunities for international exposure. Selected projects receive financial support and post-production services, as well as travel and accommodation for the filmmaker to attend the festival in Curaçao.
The submission deadline is February 10, 2026, and the selected projects will be presented during the festival on April 16 and 17, 2026.

Impact - FICM / CIFF
Green Film Lab is an international call organized by TorinoFilmLab, based in Italy, aimed at audiovisual professionals interested in incorporating environmental sustainability practices into their production processes. The lab focuses on providing tools and knowledge related to green production and is not limited to any specific narrative genre.
The call is open to feature films, documentaries, and TV series at different stages of development or early production, as long as they are connected to professionals or teams seeking to apply sustainable criteria within the audiovisual industry. The program functions as a specialized workshop and training lab rather than a pitch session or market.
The lab will take place in person in Turin, Italy, from April 17 to April 19, 2026. The application deadline is February 20, 2026. The call accepts international applications and is intended for film, television, and related industry professionals committed to sustainability in audiovisual production.

Green Film Lab - TFL
The Fundación RIO Call, part of the International Film Festival of Lebu, aims to strengthen the Chilean audiovisual industry by supporting fiction and documentary short films up to 30 minutes, excluding pure animation and completed projects. It is open to individuals or legal entities based in Chile, with a focus on projects from different regions of the country. Submissions are accepted from December 29, 2025, to April 15, 2026.
After the deadline, a committee evaluates the projects and selects preselected participants, who present a live pitch during BioBío Conecta 2026, between April 27 and 30, 2026. Notifications to preselected projects are sent approximately 12 days after the submission deadline.
The winning project receives a financial award to support production of the short film, along with visibility and networking opportunities. This call seeks to decentralize the Chilean audiovisual industry, providing space for creators from various regions and promoting both national and international exposure for their work.
