The ECAM Last Push program is part of the ECAM Forum 2026 in Madrid, Spain, and is aimed at feature films in the editing or post-production phase. Applications open on December 17, 2025, and close on February 12, 2026. This section is designed to help cinematic projects reach festivals, distribution channels, and international markets by connecting filmmakers with programmers, distributors, and sales agents.

The program accepts projects from any country and of any narrative genre, including fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, or hybrid works, provided they are feature-length films over 60 minutes in post-production. During the ECAM Forum, taking place from June 9 to 12, 2026, selected projects will have the chance to showcase their work to industry professionals, receive expert feedback, and gain international visibility opportunities.

In summary, Last Push offers filmmakers support in the final phase of their feature films, helping them expand their reach and strengthen their chances of success in festivals and international markets.

Documenta Madrid 2026 has opened its call for entries for its International Documentary Film Competition, which is open to non-fiction films from all countries. The Ibero-American Audiovisual Project Development Course (CDPAI) has opened its call for the 2026 edition, aimed at filmmakers from the Ibero-American community who are developing audiovisual projects. The program focuses on strengthening creative, narrative, and production aspects through an intensive training process with specialized mentoring.

Applications are open until March 2, 2026, and the course will take place on-site in Madrid, Spain, from September 28 to November 6, 2026. It is designed for projects in fiction, documentary, and animation, in feature film and series formats, currently in the development stage.

CDPAI operates as a development laboratory, combining training, creative guidance, and a final pitch presentation. It accepts international applications from Ibero-American countries, including participants based in Latin America and Spain, with different application pathways depending on the applicant’s country of residence.
