El Marché du Film es el mercado cinematográfico más importante del mundo, realizado en Cannes, Francia, del 12 al 20 de mayo de 2026 junto al Festival de Cannes. La acreditación abre el 2 de febrero de 2026, con fases de registro temprano, normal y tardío hasta el cierre en abril, luego se puede registrar en sitio si hay disponibilidad.
No se trata de una convocatoria competitiva tradicional, sino de un mercado profesional internacional que acepta participantes de todo el mundo, siempre que sean profesionales activos de la industria cinematográfica.
El evento no limita a un género específico; acoge profesionales de múltiples áreas del cine. A través de su acreditación se puede acceder a diferentes espacios y programas como Cannes Docs, Frontières, Goes to Cannes o Cannes Next, orientados a networking, pitching y exposiciones de proyectos.
El formato admitido es amplio: incluye largometrajes, documentales, series y otros proyectos audiovisuales, pero la participación es mediante acreditación profesional más que la postulación directa de obras.

MARCHÉ DU FILM - CANNES
It is an international call for fiction films in development that are looking for the best partners to enter production. The projects do not need to have part of the financing covered. The projects should be intended for a direct release on streaming platforms and designed to meet the programming needs of these platforms, which serve as the exclusive or main distribution window.
Additionally, both original projects and those based on pre-existing works, such as literary, theatrical, podcast, or video game adaptations, will be eligible.

CONECTA - Pitch Direct to Streaming Movies
Pitch Vertical Series 2026 is an international call based in Spain, organized within CONECTA Magaluf-Mallorca, focused on vertical fiction series in development created for mobile viewing. The updated submission deadline is March 17, 2026, and the event will take place in person from May 25 to May 28, 2026 in the Balearic Islands. It is open to legal entities of any nationality, including production companies, distributors, and broadcasters, which means international applications are accepted.
This call belongs to the Pitch category and will select between 3 and 5 finalist projects to be presented before executives and potential industry partners. It only accepts vertical fiction or microdrama projects in live-action, with episodes lasting 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes, between 50 and 90 episodes per season, in 9:16 format. Connect FICTION & PITCH VERTICAL SERIES
Episodio 0: Series in Development is an Industry initiative of the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), Mexico, aimed at series projects originating from the Ibero-American region. The call accepts fiction (scripted) and documentary (unscripted) series in development, with a complete dossier and a first written version of the pilot episode.
The application period opens on August 10, 2026, and closes on October 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Central Mexico time. The program will last three days within the Industry activities of FICG 42, which will take place from March 6 to 13, 2027; the specific dates of those three days are not specified.
