IDFAcademy is an intensive four-day program held within the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), aimed at directors and producers working on their first or second feature-length documentary. It targets filmmakers who have demonstrated national talent and seek to expand internationally. The program includes talks with renowned filmmakers, panel discussions, case studies, and networking events focused on global documentary market trends and challenges.
Applicants must submit a form including their biography, filmography, motivation, and learning goals. Optional materials include ongoing projects and audiovisual samples. IDFAcademy is not a traditional project development lab but a professional training and networking platform.
The application deadline is August 1, 2025, and the program runs from November 13 to 16, 2025, in Amsterdam. About 100 participants from around the world will be selected.

IBERMEDIA NEXT is an initiative of the IBERMEDIA Program aimed at applying new technologies in the field of digital animation and audiovisual content with a high percentage of animation. To be eligible for this aid, co-development between Spanish, Portuguese or Italian production companies with Latin American individuals or legal entities from Member States of the IBERMEDIA Program will be necessary.

El Venice Production Bridge 2026, perteneciente al Festival Internacional de Cine de Venecia en Italia, es un mercado internacional de industria audiovisual enfocado en impulsar la financiación, coproducción y desarrollo de proyectos cinematográficos. Reúne productores, fondos, agentes de ventas, distribuidores y profesionales de la industria de todo el mundo.
La convocatoria acepta proyectos internacionales de ficción, documental y animación, principalmente en formato de largometraje, incluyendo iniciativas en desarrollo, producción, postproducción y búsqueda de financiación. Sus principales programas incluyen espacios de pitch, work in progress y encuentros profesionales de mercado, como Venice Gap-Financing Market y Final Cut in Venice.

The Incubadora Queer Latinoamérica is an initiative by SANFIC Industria designed to support fiction feature film projects in the scriptwriting stage. This call aims to amplify queer voices from a Latin American perspective, selecting up to six projects led by individuals who identify as part of the LGBTIQ+ community or whose gender expressions and identities are central to their creative work. Selected projects will receive group and one-on-one mentorship from international professionals. The deadline for submissions is May 26, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. (UTC -4), and the event will take place from August 17-22, 2025, as part of SANFIC Industria. Eligible projects must be in the scriptwriting stage, have an artistic deck, and be led by individuals whose creative perspectives reflect non-normative gender identities and expressions.
