The Industry Zone of the 29th Lima Film Festival PUCP 2025 is exclusively for Peruvian fiction or documentary projects in post-production. The deadline to apply is July 7, 2025. Lima Film Festival - WIP
The Two Week International Residency is a program by Etxe Betea in Bilbao, aimed at international women filmmakers looking to develop a feature film project. The residency provides a creative, professional, and feminist environment, including accommodation, workspace, and personalized mentorship for two weeks.
The program has a history of international exchanges with Greece and Pakistan, fostering collaboration among filmmakers from diverse cultural backgrounds. In its pilot edition, Greek and Basque filmmakers participated in cross-residencies, maintaining this international focus.
The call is open to women filmmakers of any age and experience level who do not reside in Spain. Projects can be fiction, documentary, experimental, animation, or hybrid, with no restrictions on the stage of development. Only one participant will be selected per edition.
The residency is offered in February or May, with exceptional flexibility in justified cases. Participation requires full commitment to the two-week program and signing an attendance agreement.

A Shelter of One’s Own – Etxe Betea
Cartoon Springboard is a European program aimed at animation students and recent graduates who want to develop and present their projects to industry professionals. The call accepts projects for TV series, TV specials, and feature films, but not short films.
Selected participants have the opportunity to pitch their projects, receive direct feedback from international experts, and attend masterclasses and lectures led by industry professionals. The event also provides valuable networking opportunities with producers, distributors, and other animation professionals.
The program’s goal is to support emerging talent and facilitate the launch of new projects in the European animation industry. While the project submission has specific deadlines, it is possible to attend the event as a participant without a project to benefit from the training and professional connections it offers.

Cartoon Springboard
BrLab Features 2026 is an intensive laboratory focused on the development of feature-length fiction projects, including animation and hybrid formats. The call is open to projects from Latin America, Portugal, and Spain, accepting international submissions. The program offers mentorship, consultancy, and workshops aimed at strengthening projects in development and preparing teams for the film industry.
Applications are open from November 12 to December 12, 2025, and the laboratory will take place in person from April 7 to 14, 2026, in São Paulo, Brazil. The call is exclusively for feature-length projects; short films and series are not accepted. This program provides a unique opportunity for creators seeking professional guidance and strategic development of their projects, in a collaborative environment with industry experts.

BrLab Features
La convocatoria European Work in Progress 2025 busca largometrajes europeos o coproducciones en fase de rodaje, postproducción o finalización avanzada. Los proyectos deben contar con fragmentos de metraje real, subtitulados en inglés, para presentar a profesionales de la industria cinematográfica.
Se seleccionarán hasta 30 proyectos, que tendrán la oportunidad de presentar su trabajo mediante un pitch de 15 minutos y participar en sesiones de preguntas, reuniones one-to-one, talleres y eventos de networking. El objetivo es facilitar financiación adicional, distribución y visibilidad internacional.
El plazo de presentación finaliza el 14 de agosto de 2025. Los proyectos deben tener al menos 10 minutos de metraje disponible y cumplir criterios de producción europea. Este año, los premios ascienden a 120 000 €, ofrecidos por nuevos y antiguos patrocinadores. La convocatoria mantiene colaboración con TorinoFilmLab, incluyendo proyectos de sus programas de desarrollo. La participación es abierta a productores de cualquier país siempre que su proyecto cumpla con los criterios europeos.
