The VI SANFIC-Mórbido Lab is a development lab for Latin American horror and fantasy film projects, focusing on feature films. It will take place from August 17 to 22, 2025, as part of SANFIC Industry, in partnership with Mórbido Group. Mórbido Lab - Sanfic
The Productoras Lab 2025 at SANFIC Industry is a program aimed at female producers from Latin America working on fiction or documentary first or second feature film projects. The program offers mentorship from international experts, and participants will have the opportunity to pitch their projects to a jury and international guests during the in-person SANFIC Industry event.
Eligibility: Female producers from Latin America with first or second feature film projects (fiction or documentary).
Dates: The lab will take place in person from August 17 to August 22, 2025. The application deadline is May 26, 2025 at 12:00 PM (UTC-4).

Producers Lab - Sanfic>
The SANFIC ODS LAB 2025 invites filmmakers, producers, and screenwriters from Ibero-America to submit audiovisual projects related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, in advanced stages of development. The third edition of the lab will take place online from August 17-22, 2025, as part of SANFIC Industria. The event is co-financed by the Audiovisual Fund, a support program for international meetings in Chile.
The lab offers two main awards:
PAMPA 2030: Monitoring for two projects on SDG-related topics.
RED TAL Award: Provides two follow-ups for project development in collaboration with public and cultural TV networks in Latin America.
The full list of awards for 2025 will be announced during the SANFIC press conference in the last week of July 2025.

Organized by IBAIA (Association of Independent Audiovisual Producers of the Basque Country), in collaboration with the San Sebastián Festival, this forum is a space to present documentary projects to potential funders and experts from the audiovisual and cinematographic sector. It is also a meeting point for professionals in the sector linked to the documentary genre.

SSIFF - Lau Haizetara
The 48 takes place on different weekends in different cities throughout the year. In each city local Film Teams—from beginners to pro's--compete to make a short film in only a weekend! Do you and your friends have what it takes to make a film on the fly?
It all begins with the Friday night Kickoff event when you and teams in your city draw genres out of a hat and receive the required elements for your film.
Then it is off to the races—writing, shooting and editing and doing whatever it takes to submit your short film on Sunday night.
The big payoff is seeing your masterpiece in the big screen at a local theater. Every film, both on-time and late, will screen. There is nothing better than seeing your film with an audience and seeing firsthand how they react to your movie.
At the city awards event, the winning films—as determined by local judges—are announced. More than a dozen awards are given—from Best Acting to Best Directing to the top prize: Best Film.
