En el marco del 11° Festival Internacional de Cine Antofagasta/Chile, ANTOFACINE, se desarrollará de forma online la tercera edición de AntofaLAB, laboratorio de proyectos que tiene por objetivo potenciar producciones realizadas en la zona norte de Chile (Antofagasta, Arica y Parinacota, Tarapacá, Atacama, Coquimbo), y en los países limítrofes del norte de Chile (Perú, Bolivia y Argentina).

ANTOFALAB
The Script Review Workshop offers independent filmmakers from around the world the opportunity to work intensively on their feature-length fiction screenplays in an environment designed to foster professional collaboration and the development of high-quality scripts. The Script Review Workshop consists of a two-week workshop-residency and a two-day online follow-up module.
The workshop facilitators are professionals with extensive experience. In addition to guidance for script development provided in both group and individual working sessions, participants have dedicated time for writing. The workshop gives each participant the opportunity to discuss their project with a group of international filmmakers, be part of a community of artists with similar sensibilities, and gain access to Cine Qua Non Lab’s network of filmmakers.

Taller de Revisión de Guion (English) - Cine Qua Non Lab
El Taller de Desarrollo de Proyectos Cinematográficos de Centroamérica y el Caribe es una convocatoria anual que busca apoyar a cineastas, guionistas y productores de la región en el desarrollo de proyectos cinematográficos, ya sean de ficción, documental o híbridos. Organizado por el Programa Ibermedia, el taller ofrece asesoría integral en áreas clave como el guion, la dirección, la producción y la distribución de los proyectos. Cada año se seleccionan hasta 15 proyectos en fase avanzada de desarrollo, los cuales reciben mentoría de expertos internacionales y la oportunidad de establecer alianzas con otros profesionales de la industria. Además, los participantes reciben becas para cubrir los gastos de su participación. Esta iniciativa tiene como objetivo potenciar la visibilidad y viabilidad de los proyectos de la región, promoviendo posibles coproducciones y conexiones con inversores y distribuidores internacionales.

Taller de Desarrollo de Proyectos Cinematográficos de Centroamérica y el Caribe
The workshop is dedicated to directors and scriptwriters with a project in an early stage of development – initial idea, synopsis, short treatment – for a short film of any kind (animation, documentary, experimental and fiction) from the following countries: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Lebanon, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey.

ShorTS Development Pitching Training
IDFAcademy is an intensive four-day program held within the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), aimed at directors and producers working on their first or second feature-length documentary. It targets filmmakers who have demonstrated national talent and seek to expand internationally. The program includes talks with renowned filmmakers, panel discussions, case studies, and networking events focused on global documentary market trends and challenges.
Applicants must submit a form including their biography, filmography, motivation, and learning goals. Optional materials include ongoing projects and audiovisual samples. IDFAcademy is not a traditional project development lab but a professional training and networking platform.
The application deadline is August 1, 2025, and the program runs from November 13 to 16, 2025, in Amsterdam. About 100 participants from around the world will be selected.
