STOCKFISH - WIP
IsLABentura Canarias 2026 is an international script development lab held in the Canary Islands, Spain. It is aimed at feature film and television series projects in fiction, documentary, and animation, provided they are written in Spanish and have a narrative or thematic connection to the Canary Islands.
The call is open to writers of any nationality, therefore accepting international submissions. Applications open on January 13, 2026, and close on February 22, 2026, which is the final deadline to submit projects.
The lab takes place from April to October 2026, combining one-on-one mentoring, intensive training, and industry-focused activities. The program includes a welcome week in Tenerife (April 20–26), a training week in La Gomera (July 20–26), and a final pitch session with awards in Gran Canaria (October 19–25, 2026).
