SANFIC – ODS LAB 2026 is an audiovisual development lab jointly organized by SANFIC Industria and Construir Cine, aimed at producers, directors, and screenwriters from Ibero-America. The call accepts fiction, documentary, and hybrid feature film projects addressing one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda. Projects must be at an advanced stage of development and must not have started shooting.

The call is open to applicants over 18 and legal entities residing or registered in Ibero-American countries. The lab will take place entirely online from October 26 to 29, 2026, offering mentoring, training, and guidance in areas such as screenwriting, production, audiences, presentation, and distribution. It will conclude with private pitching sessions with representatives from festivals, funds, production companies, distributors, broadcasters, platforms, and organizations.

The application deadline is August 31, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Santiago, Chile time.

Ventana Sur – Primer Corte & Copia Final 2026 will take place in Montevideo, Uruguay, from November 30 to December 4, 2026. The call for both sections closes on September 6, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Uruguay time; the opening date is not specified.

Primer Corte is aimed at Latin American fiction feature films in post-production and seeks to create opportunities for their completion, circulation, and access to the international market. Copia Final selects fiction feature films at an advanced stage of post-production or nearing completion, aimed at securing an international premiere and a sales agent. The call has an international scope within Latin America and is focused on fiction feature films.

The 22nd Co-Production Meeting of the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG 41) targets Ibero-American feature film projects in development (fiction, documentary, or animation) that have not yet been shot and have a completed script. Projects must have a minimum duration of 70 minutes and at least 20% of funding secured.

The call is open until October 24, 2025, and selected projects will participate from April 17 to 25, 2026, in Guadalajara, within the framework of FICG. Selected projects will receive one-on-one sessions with national and international professionals, free industry accreditation for two representatives, accommodation for up to four nights, and access to private pitch sessions to obtain support and financing.

Registration is done electronically via the FICG official platform. Travel and food expenses are the responsibility of the project, and attendance confirmation is mandatory to retain selection. This meeting is an opportunity to network, access financing, and present projects to international audiovisual industry representatives.

ABYCINE Lanza 2026 is the audiovisual industry market of the Independent Film Festival of Albacete (Spain), focused on supporting film projects and creating professional networking opportunities within the independent film sector. The market includes pitching sessions, project development, Work in Progress programs, professional meetings, and connections with producers, distributors, sales agents, and industry representatives.

The project calls include different sections such as Impulso CMM Desarrollo, aimed at feature films in development, and Work in Progress programs for films in advanced production or post-production stages. Project submission deadlines take place in July 2026, depending on the category.

The festival and market will take place in October 2026 in Albacete, Spain. Professional accreditation for attending the market as an industry participant (without submitting a project) is managed through a separate registration process, with opening and closing dates announced by the organization. The Guadalajara Construye call is aimed at Ibero-American fiction feature films in post-production (work in progress). Its goal is to support project completion through presentations to industry professionals, including producers, distributors, sales agents, service companies, funding organizations, and festival representatives.

Submissions opened on August 21, 2025, and close on October 24, 2025 at 6:00 PM (Central Mexico time). Eligible films must run between 70 and 120 minutes, with English subtitles and, if the original language is not Spanish, Spanish subtitles as well. A video file in MP4 format meeting technical specifications is required.

Selected projects will be screened during the festival, included in the Industry digital catalog, receive free accreditation for two representatives, and may have three nights of accommodation. They may also be considered for the festival’s official selection once completed.

Travel and meals are the responsibility of participants. Films submitted in previous editions are not eligible, and only projects in the finishing stage will be accepted. The event will take place from April 17 to 25, 2026, as part of the 41st Guadalajara International Film Festival.
