Truxa Muxa is an artistic residency held in Malerreka, Navarra, aimed at projects in development or production in animation, video games, or hybrid formats. The residency supports proposals with strong creative identity, narrative innovation, cultural sensitivity, environmental commitment, and a sustainable, inclusive vision. Projects of various formats —such as short or feature films, series, games, interactive experiences, or installations— are welcome, as long as they fit within the three focus areas. Selected projects take part in online training, personalized mentorships, and an in-person residency from September 18 to 22, 2025. Although the submission deadline has passed, it is still possible to attend the event as a guest or observer.

Residence - Truxa Muxa
Ventana Sur ANIMATION! 2026 is a section dedicated to promoting Latin American animation and the international circulation of projects. The call opens on July 31, 2026, and closes on September 4, 2026. Ventana Sur 2026 will take place in Montevideo, Uruguay, from November 30 to December 4, 2026.
The call is aimed at Latin American producers and filmmakers with animated feature film or series projects in development or pre-production. Projects must be majority productions from a Latin American country and may include international co-productions. Mixed-technique projects are also accepted, provided that at least 50% of the final content is animated.
Selected projects will participate in pitching sessions before an international jury and industry representatives, as well as One-to-One meetings with production companies, distributors, broadcasters, platforms, and international funds. The pitch must be delivered in English. Registration is free.

Animation! - VENTANA SUR
IDFA Forum 2026 es un mercado internacional de coproducción y financiamiento especializado en cine documental, realizado en Ámsterdam, Países Bajos, dentro del marco del Festival Internacional de Documentales de Ámsterdam (IDFA). La convocatoria está dirigida a proyectos documentales de todo el mundo que busquen financiamiento, socios de coproducción, distribución o alianzas internacionales.
La convocatoria estará abierta del 1 de junio al 23 de julio de 2026. El evento se realizará del 15 al 18 de noviembre de 2026. Acepta documentales creativos en distintas etapas de desarrollo, producción o postproducción, incluyendo largometrajes documentales, series documentales y proyectos inmersivos o interactivos.
El programa contempla áreas de Pitch, Work in Progress, Mercado y coproducción internacional, con presentaciones de proyectos y reuniones profesionales con productores, financiadores, distribuidores, agentes de ventas y otros actores de la industria documental. No acepta cortometrajes.

Forum - IDFA
The IBF Europe – Minority Co‑production call by the IDFA Bertha Fund targets creative international documentary projects. Projects must involve at least one European producer and one non-European co-producer, and the director can be from any eligible country. All nonfiction documentary genres are accepted, typically in cinematic format with a minimum duration of 60 minutes.
The next application deadlines are April 1, 2026, and January 15, 2027. Selected projects receive funding in three installments: the first payment (50 %) after contract signing, the second (30 %) upon submission of the rough cut or offline final cut, and the third (20 %) after completion of the film and submission of the final financial report. The first payment is expected between July and October 2026, while the remaining funds depend on the project’s progress, with final delivery required by December 1, 2027.
This fund supports international collaboration, encouraging high-quality documentary productions and fostering cultural exchange between European and non-European producers.
