O MUFEST, organizado pola Asociación Andaina de Mulleres, promove o crecemento cultural e artístico e o impulso das futuras directoras, produtoras e/ou guionistas. Pretende ofrecer unha plataforma na que se dea a coñecer ao grande público o traballo que realizan as mulleres no sector cinematográfico, o cal queda oculto nos grandes circuítos e plataformas, á vez que crear un espazo para o debate a respecto da situación deste sector desde unha perspectiva de xénero.

La conmemoración del Día del Cine Chileno es organizada por la Seremi de las Culturas, las Artes y el Patrimonio de la región de Valparaíso, con la colaboración de Sala Insomnia Teatro Condell. El Día del Cine Chileno se instauró para conmemorar a Jorge Hernán Müller Silva y Carmen Cecilia Bueno Cifuentes, cineastas chilenos detenidos y desaparecidos el 29 de noviembre de 1974, durante la dictadura militar.
