Festival start: 04 October 2023      Festival end: 08 October 2023

The 8th Ajayu International Animation Festival is a cultural event organized by Sapa Inti Estudios and the Ajayu Cinematographic Association. For the eighth consecutive year, we position ourselves as the only animation festival in Peru, carrying out hybrid cinematic and educational activities from the highlands to the entire world.

This event also encompasses various cultural activities that have established themselves throughout the years, becoming an essential event for the animation industry in our country. Furthermore, it fosters the cultural and touristic development of the southern region of Peru.

Likewise, through our in-person activities, we aim to promote tourism in our region, creating a cultural and historical touristic route. This year, the festival will take place from October 4th to October 8th, 2023, renewing our commitment to showcasing the artistic expression of animation.

The participants will include artists from the audiovisual and animated fields, as well as other disciplines, coming from the Puno region, Peru, and various countries around the world. Through their expression, they will contribute to making this hybrid edition a contemporary Andean experience.

The awards will be divided as follows:

- Ajayu Grand Prize of the Jury (Trophy and digital certificate).
