Independent producers La Produktiva Films (Sabadell) and Plans Films (Caldes de Montbui) organize inDOCumentari, an international festival dedicated to documentary film in any of its expressions.

The two winning documentaries will receive a commemorative statuette.

The 4th edition of the festival will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020
Registration deadline: June 1, 2020.

Sections

-Best documentary feature film (a minimum duration of 40' and a maximum of 90')
-Best documentary short film (a minimum duration of 10' and a maximum of 39')

Eligibility criteria

- They can be considered documentaries given their content.
- They were produced later than January 2018.
- Documentaries will be presented in their original version and they must have subtitles in Spanish or Catalan when this is not the language of the film.
- The Festival will not accept unfinished films.
- The participant guarantees that the submitted film is original and unpublished and that it is not subject to any contracts, assignments or third party licenses relating to copyright, intellectual property or other rights other than those belonging to the creators of the film.
- Documentaries that do not meet all these requirements will not be eligible for selection.

How to submit a Documentary

Registration will be online through the platform www.festhome.com.
DVDs or other physical formats will not be accepted.
Registrations will only be accepted if they are received on time. Incomplete applications will not be taken into consideration.

Selection procedure

The organizers of the Festival and several professionals in the field will select the six documentaries (3 short films and 3 feature films) that will participate in the Festival and will decide each film's screening dates and times, one short film and one feature film per day.
The organization of the Festival has no obligation to make known to the participants the reasons for the selection or rejection of the films presented.
Requirements for the selected films

The Festival must receive the screening copy of the documentary before September 1, 2020.
The Festival will not accept copies that do not meet the minimum requirements for exhibition.
All selected films will be screened in the original versions and they must have subtitles in Spanish or Catalan when this is not the language of the film.
Those selected must provide the festival with the press kit (photograms, digital poster, synopsis, etc.), trailer and other promotional material to promote the film. The Festival reserves the right not to return the submitted material.

Awards

The winning documentaries (best long and best short documentary) will receive a commemorative statuette. The organization reserves the right to incorporate new awards and to replace the prizes with others of equal or greater value when there is a justified cause. Any decisions made by the Festival and the jury are final.
