The Mashup Cinema ... but what is this devilry?
Mashup duplicates, combines, re-appropriates and transforms an unlimited catalog of images, sounds, ideas and patterns available on the internet.
In short, the mashup cinema tries to reverse our old creative habits to give a big boost to our innovation.
The festival created to reward these new borrowed masterpieces is the Mashup Film Festival! So come and rethink the theme of the 2020 festival:

Cash Prizes: 3,000€
Selected films will be part of our special program. All the filmmakers selected at the MFF will also be awarded to the right to apply for the CNC-Talent grant. This help is usually designated for creators which have more than 10,000 subscribers on Youtube or are awarded in a 1st category festival. Some of these films might leave with a prize, including the CNC Talent prize worth € 3,000!
Règlement
Each applicant must send one mashup film which follow the official regulations :
– Everyone can apply
– The length is up to you (feature narrative, feature documentary, short film)
– Mashup films have to be made from preexisting images and sounds
– Films must be submitted via online screener (Vimeo, YouTube, etc.) and in the following format : AVI, MP4, WMV
– Films in foreign languages have to be subtitled in French. Dialogue lists will not accepted.
