The feminist Festival Vierte Welle, aims to provide visibility to women artists and help to raise awareness of gender inequality, citizen participation, work to prevent prejudice, fight against discrimination through audiovisuals, made by women, of the so-called Fourth-wave feminism.
The Fourth-wave feminism is articulated through the creation of audiovisual and written contents of philosophical, political, economic, social, ecological and cultural character; academic or not, and the dissemination of them through social networks and traditional media.
The festival is organized by Karne Kunst and Xochicuicatl e.V

There will be no awards for considering that it is not a competition, but collaborative
participation where all those involved add to the discussion and visualization of the issues
established in point 3. All the participating films will be given a certificate of participation of
the Festival.
ELIGIBLE PROJECTS
Short-length (30 minutes or shorter), made by female artists, narrative, experimental and documentary films that show Fourth-wave feminism audiovisuals. Read the complete rules and regulations.
