Direct Short and Documentary Film Festival hosts monthly 'Online International Short and Documentary Film Festivals'. We, at Direct Short and Documentary Film Festival , aim at bringing out the best short films, Documentary, Music video and web series from around the globe and to present it all on one single platform which is our website.

CATEGORY AWARDS:
All Category awards will be announced after the closure of online submissions.

1) Only online Submission through festival platforms will accepted
2) All genre films will accept.
3) All the awards for the winners of will be announced after the closure of online submissions.
4) Minimum six selective entries are required to qualify any category. If sufficient entries not received selective films will be enter in next edition of the festival without any entry fees.
5) After a film has been selected and the filmmaker is notified, the film will be listed on the festival web site under official selections until festival edition not over. Irrespective of whether it wins any awards or not.
6) By submitting to the Festival you confirm that you own the rights of the film and you agree to allow your project to be shown by the Festival.
7) Your name and information about your project may be used for promotion.
8) Filmmakers competing in festivals that require they not to show their films online, they can submit their films into the trailer/teaser category.
9) Any film in any format, online, offline without Vimeo.com or YouTube.com will not be consider.
10) All selected films will remain on our website for as long as the festival edition is in existence. Please note that you can request to delete or update your link every time you need.
11) Submissions in languages other than English must be subtitled in English.
12) Multiple entries are allowed. You can submit more than one film to the same category or different Category.
13) We accept all kind of film. The film production could be from any year.
14) The festival has the right to disqualify or remove any winning film for any reasons, without having to explain the reasons to the filmmaker and submitter.
15) Once the festival edition over your film will be automatically deleted from website.
16) If a winner is awarded a cash prize, the entrant is responsible for providing an accurate PayPal address to receive the cash prize. Bank account cannot consider.
17) The festival reserve the right to delete any award winning film link from website without having to explain the reasons to the filmmaker and submitter.
18) Each entry will be accompanied by non-refundable fees. No Cheque are accepted to pay submission fees, only online payment through festival platform
19) Entrance fee is non-refundable. Entries will not be processed without entry fee payment
20) The Festival reserves the right to make any necessary changes in regulations or scheduling without having to explain the reasons to the filmmaker and submitter.
21) Any Film, selected or not selected, will be a decision of selection panel which is final and accepted by all.
22) The decision of festival will be final and accepted by all.
23) By Submitting the film, you have read and agree with our Rules and Regulations
